I tried reading the changelog and it was *immense. I get they were basically laying the groundwork for this update with 4.14, and there's likely other reasons the devs have abundant time on their hands to work on XFCE, but this was a fast release. I wish I hadn't switched most of my Linux computers to Mint so I can check it out, but I guess I'll get the tour when it hits MX Linux on one of my laptops, or maybe peep Xbuntu 21.04 which may likely have it.

Excellent, I'm excited to try it! I've not done much DE-hopping in years, having settled firmly on elementary OS 5 for my desktop, and Arch + BSPWM on my laptop. The time feels ripe for a change, as elementary OS 5 is still using an 18.04 base (and seems to constantly run into problems with my hardware, making the hard drive error out into read-only mode), and XFCE, KDE, and Gnome all seem to have been thoroughly updated since I last used them.
