Google announced Wear OS (now called just Wear) and Samsung’s Tizen will be combined into a unified platform. That should lead to apps launching faster and longer battery life.

Oh, is that what is on my Samsung TV? I need to hard reset it about once per month... they don’t even let you do it through the UI.
soft resetting by holding the power button on the remote fixes most, but not all, problems.
