    It looks fantastic. And it’s about time that there is an open-source printer using the load cell method of auto-leveling. And is that a revo style hotend?! The one thing that bothers me about it...

    It looks fantastic. And it’s about time that there is an open-source printer using the load cell method of auto-leveling. And is that a revo style hotend?!

    The one thing that bothers me about it is the price. It just simply costs too much. There are a bunch of people who I know were waiting for Prusa to make their XL announcement who are probably a bit disappointed. And I am honestly unable to gage weather or not it’s actually worth the price for it yet.

    Not having to fiddle with first-layer adjustments seems like it will be quite convenient, once this improvement trickles down to smaller and cheaper printers.

      This feature already exists in a number of different printers. The catch is that they tend to be incredibly poorly supported.

        Yeah, I meant the smaller Prusa printers, which I’m guessing will have new versions eventually.
