However, if you want to make custom themes you can use an extension like Stylus and write your own CSS. I like doing this for websites that I use a lot and I've made some personal themes for reddit, tumblr, and youtube so far. I've thought about making one for this site, but I haven't used it enough yet. I also like the simple design of this website and my themes are probably a little too 'loud' for it lol
Wouldn't it be nice to get the preference from the system with prefers-color-scheme? https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@media/prefers-color-scheme
Both using custom themes and creating them are possible, but you'll need to first install the Stylus browser extension. If you want to try a premade theme, check out the themes section of the wiki...

Or you could create your own theme. Check out the Tildes wiki, more specifically the Tildes Stylus Template by @tomf which will require manually editing the colors in the css file and putting it into Stylus.
An easy way to find the hex codes for color themes is to search on github for color schemes like Gogh.
whoa -- its been a long time since I've seen that theme. haha. I just uploaded the light theme I use now that has a lot of options for columns and whatnot. It won't be perfect, but I've been using...

It exists. You can do this by changing your theme in settings, for example to "Dracula."
Display themes can be found in your user settings, at the top of the page.
Oh! Thank you!

Looks like it's an open issue, but it hasn't been touched in 3 years:
Enable automatic light/dark theme switching based on system setting (GitLab)
For those who don't have an account yet, you can also change the theme at the bottom of the page.
Is it possible to make your own or get one with minimal blue? I'm using Gruvbox Dark but it looks like I'm reading through ...ummm...yellow liquid

If you want to try a premade theme, check out the themes section of the wiki article. Tildes Darkish and A Tildes Darkly seem to be dark themes with blue accents.

Awesome! Thank you so much!
Thank you. I was getting blinded from all the white. 😄
