Are tags case sensitive?

This occurred to me, for later when things are tagged by different people, will capitalisation matter? I'd suggest better it doesn't, makes it easier to see things that were intended to be tagged the same way.

You could even consider allowing spaces in tags but ignoring them when identifying which tags are equivalent.

Actually it doesn't matter at all what you put in a topic url, it's the ID (the part before it) that identifies is (globally).

Capitalisation make sense when you don't allow spaces in tags (like twitter) to make composite tags easily readable. Here you can add tags with spaces so I agree that capitalisation shouldn't matter.
