Inviting other users
I managed to stumble upon https://tildes.net/invite today, but it doesn't seem like it works. The page itself says that I can generate invite codes, but it doesn't seem like there is anything on the page that I can interact with to invite other users. Is this intentional?
Ah yeah, I should add a message to that page for when you don't have any codes. It used to have a separate line of text saying how many codes you had left, but I decided to move it to the button you push to generate one, which says something like "Generate new code (3 left)". When you don't have any codes, that button doesn't show up at all, so that's not very useful.
I'll add something, thanks. I'll also probably give everyone some codes in the next few days or so, and I'll most likely mention it in the daily ~tildes post when I do (or make a separate post about it, if not).
Edit: done now, and invites given out.
That's a cool way to do it. I like the way it tells you how many codes you have left.
New users don't have any invite codes yet. @deimos will announce when he gives everyone new invite codes to give out but it may be a few days until that happens:

Alright, that makes sense. I suspected that invite codes weren't an automatic thing yet, since I found the page by complete accident.

Yeah, the page isn't all that clear that you need to wait for a wave or be given them by deimos. The way it's worded does make it seem like you're missing something if you don't have any invites.
