    Not surprised. Mental Outlaw on YouTube made a video similar to this. The tl;dr of the video is that the infrastructure bill passed last year includes a section that mandates companies and the government to install remote monitoring & kill switches to every new vehicle in the name of "safety".

      They are pushing hard to make "control" synonymous with safety. The technological and scientific discoveries made in the last few years have been tremendous. But some of them are scary sad too....

    Teslas and newer vehicles equipped with dashcams have already been surveillance cameras on wheels for years. Personally, I don't mind it and in fact I know a lot of people who will purposely park close to a Tesla because in the event of someone carjacking them, the Tesla might record it. Good deterrent.
