Love the examples, really excited for adoption of e-cargo bikes. I was surprised at the comparison info that they didn't do an apples to apples comparison of number of packages dropped. My guess...

Love the examples, really excited for adoption of e-cargo bikes. I was surprised at the comparison info that they didn't do an apples to apples comparison of number of packages dropped. My guess is that bike delivered fewer than van and that might be damaging to the outcome of the project. I don't think "packages in hand" is the end all statistic - there is pollution, pedestrian fatalities, congestion, etc - but I'd still like to know.

As a member of the Surly gang myself, I really loved Berm Peak's video on the decline of non-electrified cargo bikes specifically the Surly Big Dummy. A really fun video on how useful these things could be. Also, if you're in Northern Europe or looking for a unique trip, there are a number of cargo bike races across the region! They change depending on the year but previous years have seen events in Berlin, Bremen, and Amsterdam.
