I think I stopped reading Marvel altogether in the early 2000s. Are you a fan of this character? What's about her that you like? Would you recommend any reading?

Kamala Khan is a newcomer, so there's not much convoluted continuity to get bogged down in. You can just start at the 2014 release Ms. Marvel #1, which is great. It's very energetic and fun comic,...

It's very energetic and fun comic, and deals with cultural identity crises and immigrant experience pretty well.

Agree with @deknalis. Ms Marvel is intended to be the Peter Parker of a new generation, and it caught on like wildfire where comic books were on the wane and manga was taking over. She's had a pretty consistent run from 2014 then she founds a team called the Champions with some other teen heroes after the adults have one too many Civil Wars. She just finished off a relaunch with a new author and is halfway through a mini series which is probably going to put her powers in line with the MCU, but considering that she's been in print since 2014, and that just doesn't happen anymore with new characters, I think she's something special.
I don't think they changed her powers because of how difficult they are to portray, actually. I think they wanted to make her more like Captain Marvel (which makes sense in the MCU), and remove...

I think it looks great, certainly looks geared towards younger audience but should be decent enough for everyone.
That person clearly has never watched an actual Bollywood action movie (which are great btw).

Corridor Crew had a great insight. Bollywood action movies are basically what you would get if you were to do a faithful anime adaptation.
Absolutely, I love their Bollywood episodes.
