I really loved all the digs they made at Voyager, and It was definitely an excellent start to the season. I managed to watch this one 2nd somehow, and I enjoyed the 2nd episode more than this one, but it was still a fun episode.

Spoilers I think they gave themselves an easy out on the ethical dilemma that Voyager brings up by having "T'illups" immediately become evil. I think they really missed out on some actual ethical exploration there, and T'lyn teleporting them all into a blob kind of felt like an ethical oversight as well. It's definitely a good expository moment for her character, but she kind of aggressively cut the Gordian knot on any ethical questions. It bothered me slightly, and I don't think it was the best followup on the issue posed in Voyager. Granted, I think that was the original sin of the character Twovix in the first place.

Also, I'm slightly bothered that the asexual coded Billups was merged with very much not asexual T'Ana. Just given that both of them are the exact opposite of the spectrum in terms of sex and romance in the show, it felt like an odd choice.
