Moments ago, I finished season 3 of Deep Space Nine and watched episode one of season four, The Way of the Warrior. Holy fucking shit things escalated quickly. I'm entirely drawn in by this show, it's fantastic.

Other than that, continuing on with House of the Dragon each Sunday! While episode 6 has been the weakest this season, it was still good and built up some storylines, but the season as a whole has been fantastic. I said it before and I'll keep saying it, it feels so very good to be watching a quality show in Westeros again. I utterly love this universe and I was definitely someone who didn't think it would ever bounce back after GoT season 8, but I've been enjoying it and now have all the spinoffs on my radar for when those start coming out.

Since I'm subbed to HBO again for HOTD, I've also been watching a bit of Chopped again. I couldn't tell you what season because I kind of just pick and choose interesting sounding episodes (I mean, there are a million of them), but it's a nice low-effort watch that also helps give me some ideas for the kitchen. So it's been my go to idle-watch.

I was in that camp as well and it really is crazy that it bounced back after that..! I followed GoT weekly since season 3 or 4, and every time a new season came out, I would rewatch all the previous ones - so a rewatch per year for 4-5 years. I still haven't touched it since season 8 finished. It really is forever tainted, but HotD is just so good! It really brings me back to the quality of the early GoT seasons, with the bonus of some of the more egregious stuff thankfully excluded.

The new season of Hit-Monkey is really good, highly recommend it if you’re into a different type of animated series with a lot of action.

Started the K-drama "Marry my Husband" the other day and I've been really enjoying it. I'm usually not a fan of dramas involving time rollback but this one has been interesting. Things have been chaotic since the first episode and things slowly fall into place as the series goes on.

Also watched the first few episodes of the latest season of The Boys. Binged the previous three seasons once the 3rd season finished airing but I've kinda forgotten about everything since its been 2 years since then haha. Watched the first two episodes and remembered exactly how chaotic this series is. Heard some spoilers as this latest season aired so I'm looking forward to getting to those parts of the season. Keeping my expectations in check however as my friends have said they didn't like this season compared to the others.

My partner and I have been watching White Collar. It's a show about an fbi agent and his felon consultant catching white collar criminals. The episodes have a similar feel to a heist, with competent people doing what they do best. The general vibe is playful and wholesome. I was turned on to wholesome shows since watching Ted Lasso and have been hunting them down since. If there's a show with competence, playfulness, and wholesome together, I'll probably enjoy it!

Heartstopper is probably the most wholesome show I've ever seen. There's not really competence because it's about teenagers, but it's sweet and heartfelt and there is just so much joy in it.

I absolutely loved the first season of Heartstopper, but I didn't get hooked into the second one for some reason. Maybe I'll give it another try.
