It is a high profile case full of interesting details to further explore, fierce competition, and strong personalities. And both sides were available for interviews, including arguably the best chess player in history. I can hardly think of a better subject for a Netflix documentary.

Well, the teaser (at least) is funny, serious and sad. A top tier chess player being accused of cheating with anal beads? Funny. To beat Carlson, all a top player needs is to be told just once,...

To beat Carlson, all a top player needs is to be told just once, when to think a little deeper. Serious.

Humans are still competing in competitions, where my phone has already won. Sad.

Except what humans are doing when they play chess isn’t what your phone is doing. You might as well say that my VW is a better runner than any human because it can go over 100 mph.

Absolutely. An airplane can easily go over the Everest multiple times a day. It still remarkable to climb it by yourself.
