TV Tuesdays Free Talk
Have you watched any TV shows recently you want to discuss? Any shows you want to recommend or are hyped about? Feel free to discuss anything here.
Please just try to provide fair warning of spoilers if you can.
The Boys is back with their fifth and final season.
It's been pretty good so far too! I enjoyed the first two eps way more than last season already
The last season kind of dragged on.
This one is a banger!
Saw the Malcolm in the Middle revival with my fam, since we grew up on the show. It was pretty good, it didn't need to exist, but I think it knew what it came for and worked out really well. I don't think we need more of it, but I appreciate what we had.
I would love some TV show recommendations, preferably a series that's not ongoing, as I watch most of my TV during my lunch breaks and would rather have something that I can watch every day and not wait for a new season to drop a year from now. I have several streaming platforms (US) but not HBO or Showtime which does limit some of my prestige show watching.
Shows that I would consider in my pantheon:
The Americans
Andor
Bojack Horseman
The Good Place
Seinfeld
Friend
Mr. Robot
Shows that are always on repeat, more or less:
Parks and Rec
Psych
Scrubs
Brooklyn 99
Bob's Burgers
New Girl
Criminal Minds
Shows that I've watched somewhat recently and enjoyed:
Reservation Dogs
The Bear (esp. seasons 1&2)
Ted Lasso (esp. season 1)
Brockmire
Dark Winds

I'm also a big fan of limited series, and have enjoyed these:
Watchmen
The Patient
Ripley
The Dropout
Under the Banner of Heaven
Band of Brothers
Shows I'm currently watching:
King of the Hill
The Shield
Abbott Elementary
Shows I've watched recently that I was kind of indifferent on, or felt like they dragged on too long (or just straight up didn't like):
Homeland
The Good Wife (I really liked the first couple of seasons of this show but the less they were focused on actual court cases, the less I cared)
Inside Man (just watched this this week and actively disliked it)
Broadchurch (season 1 was good but season 2&3 were not great -- season 3 was a little better than 2)
Severance
The Handmaid's Tale
Big Mouth
Terriers
Firefly
Perry Mason
What We Do In The Shadows
Better Things
Justified

Frasier
Hell yeah, thanks. I've seen some of these (can't believe I forgot to include What We Do in the Shadows in my pantheon!) but not a lot of them. Some of them are unfortunately on HBO I think but were on my radar, but a lot are viable options I think
You're welcome. Yeah, there are a lot of HBO shows on my list. The rest are mainly FX with some AMC and network stuff.
You should be able to watch a bunch of these if you have Hulu.
I just watched Untold's episode "Chess Mates" about the Magnus vs Hans debacle. If anyone followed the case, there is no new information here at all. If you haven't followed the case it would be more interesting.
