After several bad experiences lately, I am interested in grinding meat at home. Does anyone have experience in this practice? I have a KitchenAid stand mixer and after some research, I am interested in buying the meat grinder attachment. However, there are literally dozens of weird Chinese brands on Amazon purporting to sell an identical set for much less. AliExpress is even cheaper.
Has anyone bought and used the KitchenAid version? Has anyone tried a cheaper version?
Thank you for your advice.
Thank you to everybody who commented; I'm going to look for the official KitchenAid attachment at a good price.

Hi, I need to re-terminate a couple of wires I do not wish to replace entirely. I'm thinking of just buying a cheap Klein crimper but is there a reason to buy something more expensive? If somebody with experience has any recommendations here, I'd appreciate them. Thanks.
Edit: thanks to everyone for their prompt replies! I will go with your consensus of no need for an expensive tool right now.

I'm also halfway through season 4 of Only Murders In The Building and I'm less entertained. So far this feels very half baked and the decision to just add a bunch more famous people into the mix is turning out much worse than S3's additions of Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd. No matter how this turns out, I'd prefer they look back to S1 and the small role Tina Fey played as a model for future seasons.
I watched the first episode of The Penguin and I liked it a lot less than everybody else. I really dislike the kid's portrayal. Too modern and real world. Colin Ferrell was ok as the Penguin but he kept losing his accent throughout the episode. Christin Milioti was ace. I'll watch the next episode.

At least there's only one season.

Still, while not tip-top entertainment, I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who likes horror, adventures, the polar regions, or Jared Harris.

There's been so many highs and lows over the years but the specials were always such a treat. I haven't loved all of the Grand Tour specials but this one was really good. I know most people probably liked the boat and train bits, but I would've been happy with just a road trip with well prepped cars the guys had always wanted through gorgeous scenery. Loved the tie ins to the first Top Gear Botswana special. I read many people commenting that they wish they'd used 'Jessica' for the outro- that would've been cool.

Initially, I decided that Amazon were complete jackasses for not following the same practice they've used for years with their Kindle devices- buy the Kindle outright for $x or buy your Kindle + Special Offers for a discount. So why didn't Amazon offer Prime + Special Offers for the old price and raise the price of Prime $15-20/year, a couple years in a row? I think they wanted to see what the percentage of their customers they had fully captured was. Bend them over now, see who let's you get away with it and proceed to even greater fuckery in the future. I will not renew my subscription next year.

I paid for a year of prime a few weeks before they announced advertising; would've thought I'd be grandfathered in... I'm pretty bitter about it. I think I'll wait until my last month and pay their $3, watch everything then dip. Fuck ads.

I also disagree with how the Biden administration is handling that conflict, but do China's treatment of minority ethnic groups within their own borders not get reported in Southeast Asia? I understand no culture is a monolith, but is there a schism between Uighur Muslims and other Muslim groups around Southeast Asia I don't understand?

Overall, it was a pretty mid race. Can't say it was very exciting, but I do feel good for LeClerc: he's been screwed by his team so many times this year. A win in Monza has to be a balm.

I finished M. Spade on Netflix and I was very disappointed by the ending. I despise out of nowhere plot twists to wrap things up and the one here was just, 'what?!'
Anyways, I can no longer recommend this series.
I've finished the 3rd episode of The Penguin and I'm ready to give up. I just don't think this is for me. I like Christin Milioti's performance, I think Farrell as the Penguin is interesting, but I despise pretty much everybody else. They feel very 2 dimensional, only there to move the story along. I'll watch 4, but unless there's a big turnaround I'm done.
I've decided to rewatch season 1 of The Old Man on Hulu. The first episode was as enjoyable now as it was 2 years ago. I'm looking forward to the refresh before I start on new episodes.
Didn't watch Only Murders this week.
