I remember years ago, when I first read the books, thinking how well the pacing and action were suited for TV, and the result has been nothing short of the best two seasons of SF television since early Battlestar Galactica ( or the British Black Mirror). I can only hope that since they're relatively close in the story to a change in books, that they don't awkwardly force an ending in. And who knows, maybe Netflix will pick up the rights and keep it going -- SyFy was so ungodly stupid with the streaming rights (seriously check the threads on the expanse subreddit about Australians trying to stream it legally) that it might just take off if it was widely available
Wish HBO had done this instead of Westworld tho, then we pretty much would have been guaranteed a few more seasons
Yeah, Expanse is by far my favourite show on tv right now but it’s no surprise it’s getting cancelled. TBH I am surprised SyFy even attempted something so ambitious, let alone allowed it to go...

TBH I am surprised SyFy even attempted something so ambitious, let alone allowed it to go longer than the first season. Despite its utter brilliance, it’s way to heady for most people and the viewer numbers just couldn’t justify the cost. Here’s hoping Netflix picks it up, but given the existence of Altered Carbon, I doubt they will.

Oyedeng beltalowders. :(
SyFy is like the Uwe Boll of Science Fiction, for a TV network named after a genre, they cancel all the good ones and run the stupid shit.
I'm still ticked they cancelled Incorporated. That show had some real potential.
