I prefer Android and something linkable with a PC but for others obviously iOS options too.

Got a link to the Hall effect sensor? I would like to do the replacement on mine.
I'm the OP! Elite Dangerous! Lol. Seriously though there are a ton of great VR games. Use the Steam refund to the fullest and find the ones you like best
Could you tell me more about Distant Worlds?
Funnily enough, I'm encountering this same problem and so is my friend. I have the x56 Logitech and he has the saitek version. How did the hall effect sensor swap go?
I play with HOTAS and VR when I can. I have a Valve Index and plan on upgrading to the new Valve headset when I can. The HOTAS adds quite a lot and makes flying feel very natural. I did use M&K at the start but I can't go back to it now after the HOTAS.
The VR is an absolute game changer. It is immersion like no other and is both incredible and humbling. Seeing the wonders of space through your cockpit while sitting in the cockpit is absolutely breathtaking. Canyon racing on a ship launched fighter, seeing a black hole up close, flying around a space station, dodging pirates through an asteroid belt, and so much more are just a whole other level of intense and deliver waves of feeling.
Do we have any Elite Dangerous players on here? What does everyone think of the new ships? Any other recent changes you're excited about?
The Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex and 2nd Gig series were fascinating for me. Some of the philosophical explorations it confronted coupled with excellent storytelling and well chosen voice actors really cemented it as one of my favorites.
Doom 2016 is an incredible soundtrack. Mick Gordon absolutely crushed the mission there. I haven't heard the other two. I will look them up.
I agree with your opinion on the music for BoTW and TotK. BotW in particular really helped the world feel as empty as it was intended to be. There was so much danger, so few places people could just flourish. TotK has so much more happening everywhere and there's much more vibrancy while still being minimalist.
Also OoT and Super Metroid are classics. Very tough to beat.
There are a lot of live action or orchestrated versions the Chrono Trigger OST. Have you heard any of them?
Great choice. The Bastion soundtrack was excellent and Hades really just shines.
I am referring to the entire game's soundtrack. Not just any individual song, unless that one song is so good it makes the whole game and soundtrack.
I do think that Thinkpads and other sturdier frame computers are a good suggestion, but I would like to put forward Framework laptops as an option. They have a modular design and as such are easy to fix and maintain. In addition the input/output modules on the sides are not connected directly on the motherboard. If you do drop it and damage one, the motherboard is probably fine and you just replace the module. You can upgrade it as well during its life so it will last quite a long time. It's a little more expensive for the initial buy in but after that it will be cheaper over time. You can probably 3d print an external case for the 13" laptop as well to ruggedize it. There is a whole community who build third party accessories for these laptops.
"The unfortunate (or fortunate for Nintendo) situation is that Nintendo is sitting on a big pile of cash, they have a [board of directors] that until recently has not pushed for further increases in market growth or stock appreciation."
This is very telling of Microsoft's strategy. The source below shows that not only is this guy talking about getting more aggressive with the growth and development strategies for Nintendo, but they also want the literal pile of cash Nintendo sits on:
"Buried in reams of financial data is the revelation that Nintendo have 812.8 billion Yen (£6.7/$10.5 billion) in the bank - enough for it to take a 20 billion Yen loss (£163/$257 million) every year until 2052. Then there's almost 469 billion Yen (£3.8/$6.0 billion) held in premises, equipment and investments. When that runs out - we're in the year 2075 by this point - they've got some of the most valuable intellectual property in gaming to sell off before the company goes out of business."

I do think that Nintendo should possibly get a little more aggressive with their game and software development by updating some of their practices and designs, but I don't believe mixing with Microsoft would be the best way to do that. They should update their culture a bit, get some new people in, and make the change from the inside out. I am hopeful they will do that since this acquisition never happened.
I have played this game on my tablet and it is fantastic. Much more engaging than FTL in my opinion, which is still a great game. Excellent recommendation. Added to the list.
I have polytopia and played the crap out of it. Great game
I find the controls for Vampire Survivors and it's clones so sluggish on mobile. Really turned me off of them without a controller
Awesome! I will dig around myself and find more parts. I figure while I have the guts out I might as well replace it all with hall effect so I do this once and never again.
I will keep you updated, my fellow tinkering internet denizen.
