I agree with you that a healthy diet is mostly what it comes down to. I take 40 micrograms (1600IU) of vitamin D in the winter because I live close to the artic circle so sunlight is kinda... not there for 4 months so it helps to get a bit from pills. It seems to have a positive effect as far as general happiness is concerned so that's enough for me. As far as other supplements it's all very confusing, like I don't know what food you get zinc from but also maybe I should have zinc?

My best advice is to be consistent. You can play around with the finer points of the morning routine, but the point is to make one part that's pretty much set in stone, that's the part that gets you going. The alarm goes off you get up. It's a learnt response, you don't have to be awake for it, as such. You get up and [complete task], and that's the wake-up point. Task can be brush teeth, eat breakfast, make coffee, whatever, but it's a set thing and it's easiest if it doesn't take more than 5mins. The point is it gets you moving.

To learn to get out of bed you start with setting an alarm for the same time every day for a month. Same alarm, same snooze, same time. And you get up every time. This sucks, so it's easiest if you get a lot of sleep, more than is needed, to make it easier to deal with. After you have done it a month, reduce your sleep time. Slowly reduce it to a point you are happy with, (half an hour a week) but don't change the time on the alarm or the snooze, and always do [task]. Then the loop is built and you'll be one of those people that wakes up and "just" gets up.

This will 100% be seriously poorly implemented, like everything else the UK tries to do. Try a visa gift card instead

Oh wow, I was thinking Midgar like all of Midgar! That'll be cool though, a full game where Aeris doesn't die, good stuff :D

Oh really? So we only get a diamond WEAPON battle then.. I hope they have another type of "hidden" insanity level battle (relative to the rest of the story at least) in Midgar in that case. They followed the idea through as far as FF13 but it really eased off in difficulty imho. I'll be another waiting for the PC release though so I guess I'll accidentally learn most of this before I get to play.

The various structures really improve the game imo, I was blown away by the haunted mansion when I started trading with the villagers. Took me 6 in-game days travel to get out there, but that was actually pretty fun. I think the drowned spawns have the potential to screw up if you have many many small bodies of water around, but I haven't figured it out.

It's good stuff. I was one of the many who picked it up again in the last year after not playing for many, it's changed a lot and not always for the better, I really don't like the drowned spawning, for example. Every so often I'll be working away in my house or something and 20 or so will spawn in a really small body of water, talking like 2*5, and that many just kill you instantly even with iron armour on.

Kinda excited for Minecraft earth though. Microsoft probably won't drop the ball as hard as Pokémon go did, based on how they've developed the game so far.
