I hated being called a “Redditor”, to me personally it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth to be pooled into a website by a name. Then you have memes and labels that are given the the group, even though I was a lurker, and still somewhat am, I’m grouped into the neck beard narrative by some.

Just for some annoying reason I can't lay fully on one ear or i'll hear the tinnitus, so i often use an arm to prop my head up and leave an opening for my ear.

It’s rather mild, and only really noticeable when I stretch my jaw or neck out or am in total quiet. It does make sleeping rather difficult and I have GAD so I randomly will get small panic attacks if I think I hear it throughout the day.
I suppose I share my experience because even though my case may be mild, it’s such a horrible condition. That even with my case my life is completely different, I used to love silence, now I hate it. So it’s extremely uplifting to see some breakthroughs on tinnitus, whatever it may be, thank you!

It may be better quality overall to go separate with audio and mic, but I think the PX38X does a fantastic job for its price, especially right now at $129.00 USD on Amazon.
It’s very lightweight, comfortable, has an adjustable head strap and tilting pads to fit the head. The headset comes with two detachable cables, a 2.5mm pc cable and a split 3.5mm audio/mic cable. It’s also open back, this may be a downside to some, but I love hearing my surroundings and being able to talk with my voice bouncing around in my head lol. It also does a great job at emulating surround sound.

For lack of a better comparison I kind of played him like a wild western preacher in combat. Any time I learned a new spell I would come up with something to say that sounded like a quote from a bible but fantasy-like and his god is Eilistraee. An example would be the following, when he casts Dissonant Whispers;
'Liberation 10-7' For you who are destined to bleed, I spare you this whisper for what might happen if I roar.
I believe I went around and borrowed context from the dnd wikis and such, I’m not a poet but everyone really enjoyed when I got a new spell cast, as there would be another made-up quote, lol. Probably the most fun I’ve had in 5e combat.

Whenever I see something in media that I particularly think is cool / fascinating, I immediately think of ways on how that could be implemented into a story I could tell, likely with its own spin. Similarly, I have a media influence on my dragons, but instead by Skyrim as well as Smaug in the Hobbit movies, I totally endear the idea of a dragon talking up itself in a deep terrifying manor all throughout an encounter.
And while late to the game, I had just recently watched Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I can’t help but visualize all sorts of ways to make descriptions all the more interesting with some mimicry of the show. Things like how Toph “sees”things and how the elements are bent can be great descriptions for Magic.

And I didn’t really watch anime until much later, what got me back into it was seeing Death Parade, such an interesting and fun show to watch unlike anything else I had seen. The premise being if someone dies they have to participate in “Death Games” with someone else to see who’s worthy of reincarnation. There’s more to it than that, but I highly recommend it, it’s only a single season.
Thank you, It's been a bit since I had a consistent group so here's for hoping!
Yeah I was pretty heavily a D&D 5e player/DM and a new system re-invigorated me for sure, i've gotten a few lifetime friends from the hobby and it's probably one of my favorite things about it, also a sure fire way of keeping in touch with people.
Interestingly I've always ran and played in 4 hour long games. I really enjoy roleplaying, and combat can take a good chunk of that time, especially since there are still quite a lot of people migrating to the system from D&D 5e and combat understandably takes longer. So it's always worked I suppose?
Application deadline would likely be next Wednesday, the 26th of July. I try to make it a quick fill out, so no one has to stress over a pseudo job interview, lol.
