The programmers couldn't get all the features in they wanted but they're wanting to still work on it more and release a more finished version, so I might make more music for it.

My hope is that my next car will be electric, but the infrastructure is not there in my area at all, and it's simply not feasible or reasonable to get one for most people. The only people who have them in my area all work for the same employer who has well maintained chargers in their private parking lots. Sure, you can slow charge through a wall outlet, but if you want to take a trip anywhere you're still planning your trip to go way out of the way to be able to make it.
I know that's the case because a family friend came to visit in his Tesla. He drove us around as we took a trip around 1.5 hours away, and we needed to find a charger for him and wait at it for an hour or so or we wouldn't have been able to make the trip back home.
When the infrastructure hits a critical point, the sales will spike and overtake ICE cars. But it's simply not the case yet.

Enter a big room, doors lock, kill everything in it, then move to a new room. It's not tactical modern gameplay but more akin to fast paced run and gun gameplay of older games.

People heard the tv show intro song sung by Dolly Parton with her southern accent and country backing music, and assumed she was pronouncing "Berenstein" with a southern twang, which their brains corrected. In actuality she was pronouncing it correctly.

By and large the games you'll most likely be playing on it won't be massive, and 512 GB will be more than enough. And it's down to about $360 US which is barely more than a Switch at this point.

I tried it again, answering yes to every question, then no to every question, then alternating yes and no for each question. It said I agreed with 11% every time. So... yeah. Not quite sure how to interpret that.
The general idea at the end is interesting to think about. Ultimately content moderation can have rules that offer guidelines, but they're more or less going to come down to "this is my space and I want/don't want that content here." In plenty of spaces, (noticed especially on Reddit but in other places too) I can think of lots of instances where what seemed like clear rule breaking content was allowed because the moderators liked it, or content that seemed to be well within the stated rules were removed because the moderators didn't like it.
Here we've got two questions: What counts as a "vehicle?" and what counts as "in the park?" Starting the train of thought of trying to answer those can lead to some Diogenes-like "gotcha" moments. For example: we should specifically allow wheelchairs, obviously. Cut to teenagers riding wheelchairs by standing in them like they're surfing. Okay, we should allow wheelchairs for anyone that needs them. Cut to someone using a wheelchair to carry picnic supplies in by pushing it from behind. Okay, anyone who has a disability or injury of some kind that impairs their walking can have a wheelchair in the park. Okay, how are you going to check and make sure of that? Etc. etc.

I used my real email and made a passkey on my computer on firefox.
Then I went to try it on my phone. It asked me to use a hardware key of some kind. When I backed out of that screen... it just sent a normal 2FA 6 digit code to my email to let me sign in. I kind of thought this was supposed to be more secure than that? Like aren't those really insecure and prone to the phishing attacks that passkeys are supposed to avoid?

So, let me ask, if you know the answer -
What if I just don't want Google/Apple/MS to have my login info for a website? To maintain some sort of, I don't know, plausible deniability about having used it, or having used it as that user?
That might seem weird, but one reason I come to places like Tildes and Lemmy and such is for some sense of anonymity. I don't necessarily want my name and face associated with every account I use online.

So I lose my phone and the only thing I can do is... find it or get a new phone? I'm locked out of all my accounts until I do that and recover the passkey? My phone dies, and I'm locked out of signing into things until it's charged up and on again? What if I don't have a signal on my phone but need to sign into something that's, say, wired via ethernet?
I have an iPad, an Android phone, and a Windows desktop. Can they share the same passkey, or am I going to be picking one and scanning a ton of QR codes all over the place?
Can I have multiple accounts on the same website/app under the same passkey?
I know you're not like, the designer of passkeys or anything, but these are just things that pop into my head as I read the article. Thank you for linking it.

Right now it sounds like I'm giving Google/Apple/Microsoft more information in exchange for not having to type in a username and password or use Bitwarden or something.
I've read Google's page about them but I just don't really get it. Why is this better? Because it's faster?
Yeah, so I think how it works currently is that you have to be currently possessing things that the human runs by, and that counts as scaring him, and if you do that enough he leaves and you win the night. The pixel artist made an animation to show when the human is spooked, but the programmers couldn't get it in for the deadline.
I think they want to add that animation and more ways to make it clear you're doing what you're supposed to do, more types of humans that will show up that can do different things, a shop between levels to buy upgrades to the ghost or your house, and different house layouts at the least. They want to turn it into a proper little indie game, which I think is awesome, and I'm hoping to keep making music for them as they do.
