    Same as you pretty much. Just some experiences of mine for people interested in privacy: I found that switching emails from hotmail => tutanota was probably the best thing as my hotmail had been...

    Same as you pretty much. Just some experiences of mine for people interested in privacy:

    • I found that switching emails from hotmail => tutanota was probably the best thing as my hotmail had been getting so much spam over the years.
    • Running microG on my android phone + custom ROM hasn't really inconvenienced me in any way. Things I miss: google maps, google cast. OSM is a decent alternative but sometimes it takes ages to load for me.
    • Stopped used my old reddit account and made a number of reddit account 'partitions' for different subs
    • FInally I also find I support open source projects a lot more and donate/keep tabs on them. Something I am super excited for is the librem 5 phone, which hopefully works out well.

    I definitely agree I am privacy conscious. I'm more concerned with hiding myself from corporate entities, however that also means I am concerned about hiding/overtly giving info to the gov. Also I think it is the philosophy behind it. If everyone becomes a sucker for facebook/youtube/reddit, then it becomes that much easier for those people to control the world.
