    Also, I'm not into dating sims but the incorporation of dating sim mechanics into the optional boss was another great gameplay technique.

    As someone who played chapter 1 way back, then forgot about chapter 2, then bought 3 and 4 (which you purchase at this point and you get the rest of the chapters for free) and played 1-4 in one...

    As someone who played chapter 1 way back, then forgot about chapter 2, then bought 3 and 4 (which you purchase at this point and you get the rest of the chapters for free) and played 1-4 in one go, then just played chapter 5 a year later, I’d say go for it.

    I enjoy contemplating where the story will go after finishing a chapter.

    Honestly I could swap Mole Mania with Super Mario RPG. I agree it’s a great game and probably has more weight/influence in my head now that I think about it. Kirby’s Dream Course did really well...

    Kirby’s Dream Course did really well with the “Kirby swallows an enemy and gets its powers” application to golf. Turning into ice to slide across a water trap or turning into a UFO to fly across gaps is incredibly fun. Plus the conveyor belt sound effect is still in my head.

    I beat the game. When I first started playing, I didn’t enjoy it because I thought it was too hard/frustrating. The game grew on me over the 2nd and 3rd dungeons.

    Some parts can be frustrating, both the platforming and bosses. It really is a Souls game in the sense that you can’t just hack and slash your way through. Bosses have tells just like in Souls games; you have to do the choreography in order to be successful.

    I feel like I hear bad things for just about any browser. Chrome is owned by Google and they inject all kinds of nasty tracking and AI stuff, and Firefox isn’t what it used to be. I use brave because it seems free from asshole influence but I guess not.

    Modern-day America is a sick experiment in how badly the elites and powerful can treat common folk without having them revolt.

    Surprisingly, it’s a lot. People feel like they have something to lose even if their life is terrible. Combine that with an ever-increasing surveillance state that prevents people from organizing and forming militias because it’s “terrorism”, and you have an incredibly effective framework for spreading misery and exploitation.

    I’ve had interactions with police in the past that demonstrated they, at best may be willing to help you but unable to due to constraints or incompetence OR at worst, will actively fuck with you. They DO NOT care about you and will only protect their own.

    The police are a government sponsored gang. Know your rights and FUCK THE POLICE.
