I've been playing World of Warcraft Classic and decided to check out retail wow after I got bored with Ulduar.

I was very surprised to find out that the current expansion is really bloody good and a lot of the things I didn't like about retail wow have been softened considerably. The storyline and voice acting are top notch and really engaging, which I was surprised by as Blizzard's stories have been garbage this last decade.

The progression and gearing is rapid and less grindy than it was in the past, while still preserving a lot of higher tier options if you want to take the game really seriously. I'm really impressed by where they've gotten to.

The main thing is to just keep building yourself up mate. You'll get there. And don't be slow to rely on friends when you need

The only tattoos that make me feel uncomfortable are face tattoos. For two reasons, 1. I don't really know where to look and 2. I kinda expect them to be volatile if they thought getting a face tatt was a good idea. I recognise #2 is totally prejudiced.

Can you clarify what you see as blatant transphobia? A lot of the sub right now is pointing out what is stupid about politics from a marxist perspective. If you identify with those things, you might feel attacked.

For me the discussion feels like left of centre discussion in the early 00s and late 90s, before intersectionalism took over. It's a lot more about the welfare of the average person, rather than focusing only on the issues related to identity politics.

Can't wait for more episodes of Deadloch. Currently we're watching it on Prime Video. It's a murder mystery/comedy written by the two Kate's behind The Katering Show.

The conventional wisdom is that it takes half the time of the relationship to grieve the loss of it. So for you it might be 10 years. In my experience it can be a lot shorter based on the work that you do to process it, and the work that you do to focus on yourself so you regain your confidence and self-love.

Others here have commented extensively about therapy and I agree with their points. It's a net-positive and will help you process quicker.

The biggest thing for me is finding things about myself that I want to work on - fitness, education, income, becoming a better lover, etc. When I invest in those things it helps heal my self image and helps me get over everything.

With the microtransactions and Blizzard's track record I am not particularly hopeful.

I just want to talk to people, not personas. This is part of why I too love the /r/stupidpol space, even tho I'm closer to a neoliberal than a marxist

I'm a xennial and somewhere between these two poles. I wanted a tattoo when I was younger but never found anything I liked enough to make permanent. And I liked tattoos. But tattoo culture shifted from being on parts of your body that could be hidden when appropriate, to really obvious parts of your body like faces, necks, full limbs etc with none on the torso. They kinda lost me then.

I still like tattoos but people with face/neck tattoos to me are kinda like bright colors on an animal indicating they're poisonous and to stay away.
