Maybe this is Firefox specific funtionality but whenever I used the shortcut before, it would open a new tab, even though I might already have a Tildes tab open.
While I think everyone can see it could provide for a good story, it does seem a bit soon considering someone died during the rescue. I guess that's how the world works but it doesn't sit well with me.
