Your projects look fun, and I like your ethos of just digging in and doing it. Might try fiddling around with midi this weekend from your inspiration. I'd like to use one of my Raspberry pis to make a drum machine or other midi controller.
To get further down the rabbit hole, I've been looking for something similar to C Sound but in Python, or, otherwise some way to easily generate interesting audio. I used PD for a bit which is fun (check it out if you like making music), I might try it again with the midi hookup for ease of use.

I took the day off work today and was fretting about it because I'm fine, but there's a lot of shit happening to people I love or their family members. Feels almost selfish to say that I need a day, since "I'm fine" but everything is weighing on me so heavy lately. This article was perfect to help me feel validated.

Then, if I go to someone else's island where their native fruit is apples or something, if I sell my oranges on their island, I get 500 a pop.

Main source of revenue has been getting fruits from other islands and planting orchards. Each fruit sells for $500 on it's non-native island. Also sell your native fruit on friends' islands.

I've never played an AC game but I really enjoyed Stardew Valley and when I completed the majority of the missions I lost interest because I couldn't figure out what else to do. I was itching for another game like it after I couldn't get into Terraria the same way.
So far I've put around 60 hours in, which is a lot for me considering it came out a couple weeks ago. I'm almost finished with the main mission, and am excited to unlock all of the other features. I'm hoping the game stays interesting once the credits roll. I suspect it will considering all the different seasons and events but we'll see.
If anyone is interested in sharing friend codes, mine is SW 2194 6592 2230.

I've been hearing about terpenes affecting how the high is experienced, but when the author made the analogy to essential oils that sounded like a red flag.
Personally, I could use the same strain on two different days and get two different reactions. If I'm at peace and not anxious or depressed, weed just makes me enjoy that feeling more. But if I'm anxious, it can at times amplify my anxiety (as an aside, pairing it with mindfulness meditation seems to help).
Point being, it seems difficult to chalk this up to a magic recipe when it seems like so much of the high experience is based on one's mental state.

TurdFerguson You would eat all of that within 2 weeks with 2 adults?? That is a massive amount of food, no? Also you must have a nice pantry. I'd never be able to fit all of that in my small apartment. You would eat all of that within 2 weeks with 2 adults?? That is a massive amount of food, no? Also you must have a nice pantry. Problem is, it's in Apple and Google's best interest to offer low storage so we buy their cloud solutions.

As a non-developer, I am frustrated that in 2020 there are still laptops being sold with 1080p resolution, HDDs, 4 GB of RAM that still cost an arm and a leg, and if they don't they're shoddy, buggy and probably come with a rootkit.

Basically: pistachios and almonds are water-intensive crops and therefore expensive. This leads to more farmers planting these crops, leading to an arms race of who can dig the deepest to the aquifers. The risk being dustbowls and other environmental calamity.
This is great news, and certainly seems like legislation to be celebrated, though I understand the hardship this will place on many farmers.
Hi there!
My choices are:
Dex
Streetfighter V
And for my odd choice, Downfall! I've never played a horror game before. Looks spooky.
Thanks so much! What a fun cool thing to do!
