Tildes' "Shop-from-Home" Game Giveaway Event
Important: This will be a noisy thread. If you do not wish to see it in your feed, please use the "Ignore" feature to hide it!
What Is This?
Times are tough for a lot of us out there. I'm hoping we can make things just a little bit easier by spreading some free entertainment to those that need/want it.
This is a giveaway thread for games. Most games will be on the Steam platform for PC, though any platform is eligible.
How Does It Work?
-Gifters
Each person that wants to give away games can open up their own "shop" in a top-level comment, showcasing the games they have available to give away.
Each "shopkeep" can set their own rules for giveaways (e.g. first come, first serve; limit 2 per customer; answer a riddle to get a game; tell me about your favorite band; etc.). Feel free to have some fun with this! You can use my "shop" as an example for how to make yours, though your offering certainly doesn't have to be that involved. I got a little bit too excited and kinda went all out for this. :)
-Receivers
Shoppers, or people wanting to take advantage of the giveaways, can wander the bazaar, checking out with the vendors who have items that interest them. You do NOT have to giveaway anything in order to accept games! These are giveaways, given freely, not trades! That said, a shopkeep might ask you for a story or some wisdom in exchange. Please indulge them!
Rules
Giveaway rules are set by individual gifters, but there are handful of guidelines everyone should follow:
- No grey market keys! Only giveaway games from reputable sources. If you're not sure what this means, please ask.
- Requests for games should be done in the thread, but if the gift is a key, those should be delivered by PMs only. Please don't post keys publicly, even obfuscated ones.
Isn't there a Tildes Steam group for giveaways?
There is, but not for much longer. The group is cumbersome to keep invite-only, which limits its membership, and we now have the ignore thread feature here on Tildes which we did not have when I first made the group (and I didn't want people bothered by noisy topics like giveaways). I will be closing the Steam group soon and moving giveaways back on-site to threads like this one. I feel that's better for the community, and makes participation far easier.
Bundle Barrel
Note: I've gone and closed the Bundle Barrel for now! Thanks for all the folks who stopped by. It was good getting to know the folks in this here town!
Hello there, Traveler! Welcome to the Bundle Barrel. Why don't you come on in and take a rest? It's a scary world out there.
This here's my shop. I've been tending it for quite a while now, trying to keep it stocked with Steam keys and Humble gift links for hardworking folks like you. Some of this stock has been around a while, but I also just did a big supply run and freshened up my shelves. I'm expecting a big wave to come through. Lots of people need stuff right now, you know?
Take a look around! I try to keep everything nice and organized. Oh, and take a shopping bag with you. It holds up to 5 items. This shop here is the best damn bundle-it-yourself shop around, I dare say, so look around and pick whatever you want. Don't worry about being greedy! Fill up that bag! I got plenty of supplies to last. I know it's tough out there, so the least I can do is let you treat yourself to some nice stuff here.
My store's only got one rule:
With that said, take your time browsing. Everything here's free, of course. You can take it right off the shelf with you! Lord knows it's tough out there, so I try to make it just a little bit better for you folks, you know? Come see me when you're ready to check out!
Shelves
Your bag holds 5 items total. Each item on the shelf counts as 1, even if it's a group of games, or a game and its DLC. Take what you like! You won't hear any judgment from me. I'm just happy to know that these games are going away to a good home. Warms my heart, you know? Plus, I've got plenty of supplies for other travelers like yourself. Fill up your bag, and let me know when you're ready to head back out. Thanks for stopping by the Bundle Barrel. Best of luck out there, traveler.

So, here's what you're gonna do, you're gonna put that gun down, sit yourself down, and then you're gonna grab a cup of coffee. I just made it. Fresh! Then I'm gonna check out your games, and I'll even do you one better! I'll help you out too!
Now, mind you, I'm not doing this because I'm scared. I could take you out before you even knew what hit you. But I'm not going to, because any one who would hold a gun to another is someone who's known unkindness from life. Those are the people I like to help most. So don't mistake my courtesy for fear. I'm helping you because you clearly need the help.
Now, sip that coffee while I look in your bag.
Hmmm. Let's see here. Duck Game! A fellow I know absolutely loves this. Thinks it's just the best time you can have with your buddies. I haven't tried it myself but I know a good pick when I see one.
Now Spec Ops is a heavy game. Makes you feel things. A tough game for a tough world.
Jedi Academy is a classic. I played it a long time ago, in a town far, far away. I'm not the biggest fan of the Star Wars, but any time you get to play cowboys in space is a good time in my book.
Now Project CARS is interesting. I have a friend into sim racing who likes these kinda games. I'm more of an arcade racing fan myself. I like to throw the cars around with wild abandon rather than worrying about doing right by them.
As for DiRT 4, well, I played 3 and loved it. Much more arcadey than Project CARS. I haven't tried 4 yet but I'm sure it's great stuff too.
All told you got a good bundle, which is exactly what I'm here for! Now, I promised you I'd not only give you the bundle, but I also told you I'd help you out. Now, I don't want you to think I'm no fancy lawyer from the city, but I reckon I can give you some free advice for dealing with the law, and that's this: you don't need to go turning free stuff into a robbery! You don't need to hold me up, partner! These games are free anyway! Didn't you read the sign out front?! Who brings a gun to a giveaway?!
Now I don't know you that well, but I suspect that might be why you're having so much trouble with the law. No wonder the sheriff is looking for you! Who else did you threaten? Babies in their carriages? You got to know when it's worth showing your firearm and, take it from me, it's rarely worth it. Especially not when someone's already handing stuff over!
Now, I can see that you're done your cup of coffee, and I thank you for putting that ugly gun away. You can take your bag and mosey on, but if you need another cup for the road, feel free to fill up before you go. I know life is tough out there, but make sure you don't squander the kindness of strangers. I'm nice enough to teach you a lesson, but the next guy you meet likely won't. Don't go making more trouble for yourself, and for god's sake stop leading with that gun for everything!
Even though I never appreciate staring down a barrel, I can always appreciate a good bundle made at the Bundle Barrel, and you've got yourself quite a nice one. I'm happy you came by. Stop back in should you ever need another cup o' joe. I've always got a pot on.
Quite a fine shop you've got here! Now that I'm here I'm not sure what to do with all this gold I've collected, but I'm glad to be here regardless! If you insist, I will gladly leave with a full bag :)
I most want to try THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV STEAM EDITION, as KOF is an embarrassing blind spot in my fighting game experience. Okami HD would be really fun to give a shot, since I've been told to play it for so long. I've had my eye on Type:Rider for a while now despite not totally knowing what it is, so I'd love to give that a shot. This is my first time seeing Equilinox, but it looks like a dream come true. I absolutely adore things that let me experiment and play with nature. I know nothing at all about Dex, but I love me a cyberpunk RPG.
You're doing this town a great service!
Alright, I'm back! So sorry about the trouble last night. I like to do right by my customers so it pains me when I can't help them out immediately. Please help yourself to a cup of coffee before you leave. I just made it fresh! Ground the beans myself just now!
Also, you picked quite the bundle! Let's look at what you got in your bag.
The King of Fighters XIV. Now, let me tell you about this one. I've been doing this long enough to know a good bargain when I see one, and I got that game, along with some others, dirt cheap. In fact, the deal was so good the store couldn't keep the pack on the shelves! Sold out within the day. Some people were mad as a hornet's nest about that, but, then again, people will get mad about anything.
Now Okami HD is also something special. I haven't played it myself but I still have a lot of fondness for it. See, I used to work over at the schoolhouse, and one of the kids there once gave me a presentation on this game. This kid loved to draw, and was quite the artist! His work even got put up around town a couple of times! Anyway, he did a project on artwork and he used a lot of examples from Okami, and it looked absolutely stunning. Plus you could just tell the game meant the world to him. Warms my heart thinking back on that.
Type:Rider is interesting. I played it many years back so my memory's a little fuzzy, but I enjoyed it. I think it's kinda clunky but also the kind of game for people that love letters, you know? I don't know too much about you, traveler, but I got a feeling you're that kind of person.
Now Equilinox is simply splendid. With all the stress out there right now, it's great to have something relaxing to sink into. It's the kind of game you don't have to worry about losing in, and it's the kind of game that's great to have on in the background and check in on, every so often. For a while, I took better care of the plants in that game than I did for the plants in my own pasture!
Finally, Dex has been something I've been meaning to get around to for a long time, but haven't yet. You know how it is, I'm sure! It looks like the bees' knees.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by the Bundle Barrel! Best wishes for the road ahead. Oh, and don't forget your coffee!
I am terribly embarassed -- you caught me right as I was about to turn in for the evening! I'm normally open late but, well, you get to be my age and you start to get tired easier and earlier. So it goes.
Unfortunately I already locked the register for the night, but rest assured I'll keep your bag safe behind the counter and check you out first thing in the morning.
So sorry for the inconvenience. I hate making you wait, especially as you picked out such good choices! That's quite a bundle if I ever saw one. I'll make it all right tomorrow soon as I get up and put the coffee on.
Hola, keeper of the warez! You have quite a fine collection here.
If I may, I'd love to give it a go with Blitzkrieg Anthology, which, while I play plenty of WW2 FPS (Day of Defeat Source, still going strong!), I've never tried a WW2 strategy game. Sounds like a mighty challenge to me!
While that's already pretty unexpected for me, how about I give it a go with 1 Screen Platformer? Never played a platformer as far as I know, but maybe I'm unfamiliar with how the genre is defined?
I'll be the first one to show up at the Bundle Barrel :)
If no one else is clambering to get their hands on them, I'd like to take the RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack, because as of about yesterday I was hit with a very intense desire to play a RollerCoaster Tycoon game, but I've long since lost the couple of physical we had as a kid. For my unusual pick, I know absolutely nothing about Unhack but the name is appealing.
Thank you for putting all of this together, again. <3
Ah, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2! Such a classic. Takes me back. I haven't played it in a long, long time, but I have fond memories of when I did. I've heard around these parts there's an even better way to play it these days, but that might just be a rumor. I haven't tried it out myself.
I don't know much about Unhack either, but I'm happy to pass it your way. Hopefully it's a winner!
Also, I can't help but notice your bag still has a couple of slots left. You sure you don't want to fill it up before you go? You don't have to, of course, but I just want to make sure everybody leaves the Bundle Barrel feeling fully satisfied.
I was the first one, so I wanted to leave a little bit of time for some other people to hopefully get their first picks out of the way. Now that some more people have shown up, I think I'll come back and add The Last Door + The Last Door: Season 2, because it's one of the two entries in the Horror section that caught my eye (the other being White Night), Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition since I have kind of wanted to play one of these since the 2nd one came out, and this one is more to my hardware level, and Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, which I've wanted to give a shot ever since I first watched someone play through it when I was 13 or so.
If anyone else wants any of these as their first pick and sees this post though, please shoot me a message, since I'd rather someone else get their most desired picks like I did. :)
I'm so glad you decided to fill up your bag! No sense leaving stuff you want on the shelves, especially not when it's free!
Now I've only played season 1 of The Last Door, but it was a spooky little adventure. Not quite scary, but definitely odd and eerie. Strange story too. You could tell the developers put a lot of love into the game.
Middle-Earth isn't something I've played, but one of my friends absolutely adored the game. He thought the whole system with the leaders and whatnot was just so new and exciting. I hope you like it like he does.
And Fahrenheit. I only played a little bit of Fahrenheit, before the remaster. I really liked what I played but ran into some issues with how it was running on my machine. I don't remember too much, but I think it had a pretty tense opening. Good stuff for an adventure game. Unfortunately those issues I mentioned killed my playthrough, but one of these days I'll go back and give the remaster a try.
Anyway, I'm happy you decided to come back! Repeat customers are familiar faces, and I love seeing familiar faces around these parts!
Thank you so much for doing this! I would like Euro Truck Simulator 2 please. For my unusual pick... World of Goo? Thanks again!
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is such a wonderful, relaxing game. Or, at least I thought it was until I tried manually parking the truck! Boy howdy, that takes some skill! I hope it helps you calm down in these stressful times.
World of Goo is also one of my favorites. It's got a heart of gold. One of the first games that really made me appreciate what indie developers could bring to the scene, you know? Sometimes you don't want to play something by the big guys.
I can't help but notice you got a few spots left in your bag. Feel free to fill it up before you see yourself out if you like!
I will be the second for the Bundle Barrel.
There are quite a few excellent games on this list that I would be interested in trying!
VVVVVV
IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946
Thank you for this post and keeping the game gift group going. I don't know how you have so many games but it is extremely kind of you to both give them away and do in a way that encourages others to participate!
I'm a simple man and I lead a simple life. I don't have a lot of vices. Many of my friends are taken to drink or gambling, but those don't pull for me. Instead, I like to spend my hard-earned money on games. Now, don't get me wrong, as a shopkeep, I also love a good deal, so I make sure I get as much as I can for each dollar. Sometimes I buy stuff I like, but a lot of times I buy stuff to share with others too. Can't be too selfish in this cruel world, right?
Anyway, I have the dearest of loves for VVVVVV. I don't replay games much but I think I've played through it four or five times now over the years. I don't want to give it too much praise, but something about it just sits right with me, you know? Plus its music? Well, I could play that all day and night and not find myself sick of it.
I don't know much about your other game, Sturmovik or whatnot. All that war stuff never appealed to me, especially the really realistic stuff. Nevertheless, I've heard from a couple of travelers who like that sort of thing that it's a good choice, so I hope it serves you well.
Thanks for stopping by the Bundle Barrel, and, I can't help but notice that you've still got some room left in your bag. Feel free to fill it all the way up if you like! These games don't get any love just sitting on my shelves here, so I'm more than happy to see them go.
Thank you!
This game caught my eye due to my love for an old game on the OG Xbox called Secret Weapons Over Normandy. I probably haven't played it in over 15 years but I remember it vividly hooking me. I'm not super knowledgeable about aircraft or wars in general, but I do like flying planes in games (Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 when?). So anyways, I am hoping this game captures some nostalgia from a simpler time =)
I may be back at the Bundle Barrel once everyone has had their pick ;)
Would you believe that I got here 30 seconds after it opened? I went down a rabbit hole browsing for the unusual pick. I'll take Opus Magnum, Hacknet, Machinarium, The Hex, and Letter Quest (unexpected pick); thanks!
Ah, an eager customer with a full bag! My favorite kind! And quite the bundle you've assembled for yourself. Let me see what you picked out...
Ah, Opus Magnum. Now I've been meaning to play this myself but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Life's keeping me busy. The guy that made it though, he just seems like the smartest person you've ever met. And he's always putting out new games too! Some people are so talented it boggles the mind.
Hacknet isn't something I'm too familiar with, but I hope it treats you well. I've heard good things. In fact, I think the mayor of this little town we're in really enjoyed it! Maybe ask him about it!
Machinarium is such a treat. Beautiful artwork and fantastic puzzles. It's like playing a children's book, although beware, because the art can make the game look like it's going to be a walk in the park, but some of those puzzles are mighty tricky!
I don't know much about The Hex, but I did play Pony Island which was made by the same fellow. Based on what I know about that, it's actually better to not know anything going in!
And last of all, Letter Quest. It's such a nice mix of this old letter game called Boggle and some RPG-type stuff. I liked it enough I played through the original release, and the remaster! I don't remember if they changed anything between the two.
Anyway, thank you for stopping by Bundle Barrel. Hope your picks help you on your way. Safe travels!
Yeah, EXAPUNKS is on my wishlist and it seems that some consider this his, well, magnum opus. ;)
His praise in the thread about DLC is actually why I went with it! I wasn't sure whether it would be appropriate for someone who's already familiar with programming before that.
I usually don't get Windows games, but I've heard a lot about this and it's rated platinum in protondb.
Yes, I've heard it compared with Frog Fractions and Undertale in that regard.
Never thought I'd see Boggle being referred to as "this old letter game", haha. I've actually played a very similar PopCap game called Bookworm Adventures before, so I knew that I'd like this. The hangman-type sections are a nice addition, though.
Thanks for doing this! I'll take:
Welcome welcome, traveler!
Analogue is really something special. It does so much in such a short period of time. I don't normally love games in that style, but this one drew me in and wouldn't let me go.
Deployment isn't something I know too much about, but it seems like the people who like it really enjoy it. Hopefully it's good to you too.
HIVESWAP, meanwhile, has some of the best ratings of any game out there! It really seems to strike some people's fancy! I don't know too much about the whole Homestuck thing it's part of but the people who are into it really seem to love it deeply.
Thanks for stopping by the Bundle Barrel, and do mind that your bag isn't completely full, so you're always welcome to keep browsing before you head on out on your way.
How are you finding this much stuff to just give away?
Anyway, I would like to take LOVE (which is my unusual pick), This War of Mine, and Hitman 2 if they are still available.
I know I could've chosen more, but I'd rather prefer others to go to people who might try them out, as opposed to just sitting in my library waiting for the heat-death of Steam.
That said, I wish Steam had a feature to gift away unplayed games in my library. I have lots of games that just sit there and do nothing, and would love to hand them away to people who would actually play them.
Thanks for offering this much for little to no gain for yourself.
How do I find all this stuff? Well, I was just having that conversation with another traveler. I'm a hardworking man of few vices. I save my money, don't spend too much, and have been lucky enough in life to make sure I'm able to tend to my own. I don't have any kids neither, so sometimes I like to spend a little extra on one of the things I love most: games. I can only buy so many for myself, so sometimes I spend that little extra on stuff for others. Lets me keep this shop up and running, and lets me meet all sorts of neat people from all over! Plus, I got a fierce eye for bargains. I absolutely get the most for my money!
Now let's look at your picks.
LOVE is so fantastic. That dev did so much with so little! It's got some great level design, as well as fun music. There are one or two levels I simply don't like, and if it weren't for those it'd be the kind of game I'd play over and over again for fun, trying to do it faster and faster! Once you get good at it you can beat the whole thing pretty quickly.
This War of Mine is so good but, I'm gonna warn you, it's tough. Really stressful. Some people play games to get away from the roughness of life, but this ain't one of them that does that. But what it does, it does really well. Makes you care about people and appreciate what you have, and lord knows we could use more of that in this world!
And lastly, Hitman 2. Now I haven't played this as it's not my style, but from the people who like it? Well, they consider it a masterpiece. Apparently you got lots of different ways to do what you need to, lots of freedom. Not every day you see that kind of design in a game.
Great choices all around, and even though I think you'll turn me down, I'll note that your bag isn't quite full! You can always choose more, but from the sounds of it, it seems like you've already got a pretty full shelf at home too. I know the feeling, partner! It sometimes feels like too much, but then again I take comfort in knowing there's always something new for me to enjoy. Safe travels!
I would love to get my hands on some of those VR games. If only I could get a hold of a Rift S. Unfortunately they are selling faster than they can be produced.
But honestly once I get it I will probably still be wasting most of my time playing with tabletop simulator. 😸
Yeah, from what I can gather those helmet things are selling like hotcakes! I hope you can find yourself one soon.
Now, I don't mean to eavesdrop, but it sounds like you're still thinking over your purchase. That's fine! Take your time! I'm here every day, and if stock starts running low I can easily resupply. Should you decide if you want anything, just sslide up to the counter here and I'll get you going on your way! Even if you decide not to nab anything, I'm still just happy to have any visitors come through.
The most unexpected unusual game for me to play would be a driving game which is a genre in which I don't own a single game.
I did love Garfield comics as kid so I'll go with Garfield Kart.
Now, one game ain't a bundle, but I appreciate that you followed my store rules! Just know that if you'd like anything else in that bag I'd be happy to turn it over.
I haven't played Garfield Kart myself but I've heard plenty of murmurings about it online. Seems a lot of people like the game as a joke, so I've no idea whether it's actually good or more of just a meme. Nevertheless, I'm happy to turn it over to you!
My backlog is so intimidating at this point I don't dare ask for a serious game.
Thank you very much for the game!
Ok, I since I haven't seen anyone pick it yet, I'll see this as my chance to get Rain World. I heard it's brutal, it definitely looks beautiful and somehow I just want to try it. For my unusual pick, I'll go with The Last Express Gold Edition. I don't think I'd ever pick this up otherwise but I heard it's a classic, so... yea. Thanks!
Hey now, look at that. You picked The Last Express. Take a seat for a moment and listen to an old man's story.
The Last Express isn't just my favorite game in the store, oh no. I reckon it's probably my favorite game of all time! Now, it's been a while since it came out, so it looks a little different today, but back when it first hit shelves, boy howdy was it amazing! Great characters, great story. It makes you feel like you're playing one of those Agatha Christie novels.
Now, I get that the game can be hard to stomach today. Some people love it like I do, but some people cast it aside in frustration. Mind you, this is a game that expects you to fail and learn from it, but I understand how that's not usually very fun. So, I'm telling you that should you find yourself getting into the game but find it frustrating, there is nothing wrong with using a guide if you need one. In fact, there's so much richness in the game that you can miss without one, that I almost recommend it from the beginning!
Some folks are too proud to use guides, and I get that, but I think in this case it's worth it. Plus, if you don't want to seek out answers, I know the game like the back of my hand, so if you ever need some strategic hinting instead, just find me and ask!
Also, if you want to know a bit more about what you're getting into, I found this here old letter I wrote with some of my thoughts on it. I'll warn you, it does have some spoilers in it, but nothing too major. I think it'll help you wrap your mind around what the game is and what it does so well though, which is why I'll leave it with you here.
As for Rain World, I haven't played it myself, but it does look beautiful. Makes me want to play it just to look at it.
Anyway, I thank you for stopping by the Bundle Barrel, and it warms my heart to see my favorite game leave the shelves in the hands of another. Best of luck, traveler.
Oh, and before you go, remember that the bag limit is 5! You can still choose some more if you like.
Well, what a pitch! I got to finally play The Last Express, now, thanks!
I'm actually one of those stubborn people not liking to look up guides (mostly since I've sunk in a deep modern-indie-puzzle-games hole, where guides tend to be seen as the equivalent of story spoilers in other media). Is there like "one thing" new players should be told when going in?
(I'll break character for this comment but shhh, don't tell the other shoppers!)
You need to know two things going in:
For example, in the opening of the game, you'll be invited to dinner. You can choose to meet the person for dinner or, you can not! They won't wait there forever, and should you choose to not go you'll miss out on that conversation. At times in the game, you can use this to your advantage, but at other times it can be frustrating, as events can happen that you have no idea about because you weren't present for them.
This is a somewhat clumsy process, as it's easy to hit endings but not necessarily know what you're supposed to do to correct things. Furthermore, failure in general just isn't fun, nor is replaying stuff you've already seen. This is why I recommend a guide to people, as the "gamey" aspects of the game aren't the greatest (and haven't really aged well), but the experience as a whole (the setting, story, characters, etc.) are all still really rich.
Furthermore, because of the real-time thing and because the game is somewhat open-ended in what you can experience, a guide can point you to a lot of the game's "missable richness". There's a lot of stuff you can easily miss in a playthrough on your own, whereas a guide would help all of that come to the surface and enrich the story and experience (IMO).
It's totally your judgment call for how you want to play it, of course, I just think that a guide does less to spoil The Last Express than it would for other games of its type.
Also, typing all of this out has made me want to replay it now. I think I'm going to start up a new adventure myself. :D
Thanks, I guess I'd first try from there and use a guide as soon as I feel like I'm missing something.
Sorry for the double reply! I just started up a new game and thought of a few more pointers.
I forgot that the re-release has some built-in hinting that wasn't available in the original game. As a purist, I hate it of course, but it's actually probably a good support for new players.
Your character can understand more than just English. For languages he knows, you'll see subtitles, but for languages he doesn't know you'll be in the dark as a player as to what's being said (unless you speak that language yourself).
Also, I forgot to mention that you can actually rewind the game at any point should you want to change decisions or try something different (you do NOT have to wait until the bad endings to do this). On the menu screen, the arrows at the top of the screen will let you rewind (or move forward, but only up to the present time). After a rewind you're given a 30 second grace period before the game locks in the rewind for good.
Hello and thank you for doing this. I would like to pick Middle Earth: Shadow of War. Looks fun :)
Howdy, Traveler! This here's the Bundle Barrel, and I can see you're only choosing one game! That ain't a bundle! Plus you're supposed to take something unusual too. Store rules!
Now I never want to be pushy with a customer, and I'm happy to check you out with just the one, but I also want you to know that you got plenty of room left in that bag for more if you so desire.
Hello, if nobody else has taken them I would like to pick This Is The Police 2 and The Walking Dead, and thanks for doing this.
Ah, two nice picks.
I never played This Is the Police 2. I never been one of those sim or strategy type people, but the game looks real nice. A fella I'm real close with played the first one and thought it was splendid.
I did play The Walking Dead and I loved it. A real modern adventure, with five different episodes. Some people say the formula's played out now, but it gripped me all the same. Some tough choices you have to make in that one.
Thanks for stopping by the Bundle Barrel, traveler! Best wishes on the road ahead. And, of course, know that you've still got some space in your bag, should you want to fill it up further!
Thanks for the offering, I took a better look at your fine goods and decided to also grab: Cathedral; Serial cleaner; and Tower of Guns.
Thanks for the giveaway! Lots of great stuff here, thanks for the generosity and organising the thread :) For anyone else reading this I'd definitely recommend Lethal League/Stick Fight as couch party TV games (only if you have roommates that would be interested, the online PVP didn't gather many players when I tried in the past) and Super Hexagon just for infuriating fun.
As for my picks I'm going for Armello and Cook, Serve, Delicious 2 - I wouldn't have ordinarily given them much thought but they both look like something fun that I could get into with all this quarantine downtime :) Thanks again kfwyre!
Dagnabit! I'm going to have to apologize profusely to you, traveler. I normally pride myself on a clean and tidy shop, but I done screwed up. I thought I had a copy of Armello all ready to give away but it turns out I screwed up my books and don't actually have it in stock. I also checked my suppliers and, unfortunately, prices are at an all time high right now. Can I offer you anything else as a replacement?
Now, the good news is that I can definitely follow through on Cook, Serve, Delicious 2. I played the first one and it was just the most fun thing. Tough though! I hope you enjoy it, but I'm terribly sorry about the mix up. Not only do you still have room in your bag for more if you want them, but I also want to make my mess right with you if I can!
No worries good sir :) Thanks for the CSD2 key! From what I've seen on the Steam reviews page it should keep me going for a while anyway, I also have a couple of other games in my library that I haven't gotten around to finishing (or starting) yet haha
Good day shopkeeper!
Could I take Sexy Brutale off your hands? I've never even heard of it and I have to see for myself how they've made a game out of that premise.
Something that has caught my eye a while back is Soul Calibur VI. I remember playing the first one with random characters with my friends and it being a blast. I don't really play fighting games anymore, but it might be fun to get back into it?
Lethal League huh? I used to play the flash version for hours with my friends. We even mapped a dualshock to play it with which is wild for a flash game.
Woah, Neon Chrome! My wife and I would probably love a simple twin stick shooter. Sign me up!
That's it. Thank you, and ring me up, shopkeeper!
Good day to you! Always happy to have a cheery traveler stop in. Especially one that knows what they want!
The Sexy Brutale is something I've been meaning to play for a while now. I've heard good things, including from people in this here town. Supposed to be odd but very interesting.
Meanwhile, Soul Calibur VI is supposed to be great. I've heard you can make dang near any character you want to in the game! I'm not much for fighters myself, and it sounds like you've put them aside, but maybe this game will be the spark to relight that fire?
Lethal League is great fun. Easy to pick up and play, and great to play with a friend or spouse. But, then again, you already knew this! Happy to reintroduce you to something you're already fond of.
And now, last we have Neon Chrome. If you and your wife like this one, consider the game JYDGE. I'd go ahead and give you a copy of it if I had one right now, but it's made by the same folks and is kind of a brother game to Neon Chrome. It's a little different, but they're both good in their own ways.
I appreciate you stopping by the Bundle Barrel, and I wish you best of luck on your travels!
Ah, shopkeeper. I've always resisted your tempting wares, if only to convince myself that I should invest my time more productively. Alas, you've finally broken my resolve... I simply can't say no with all those shiny baubles on the shelf. I'd like to please have the Dreamcast Collection and One Finger Death Punch, as well as a couple which are totally new to me - Beholder and Learn Japanese To Survive! Hiragana Battle.
Believe me, traveler, I understand the tempting pull of the baubles! It's what got me into this shopkeeping business in the first place!
Now, I will say that this whole time I've been waiting for someone to come through and pick up the Dreamcast Collection from my shelves. I actually bought it in my last resupply, just for now, because it's one of my all-time favorites. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret: you just got the best dang deal out of any shopper today because that one choice comes with six different games! Here's another secret: one of them didn't even come out on the Dreamcast! Can you believe it? It's true!
One Finger Death Punch is I think better than it has any right to be. It's dead simple but also so fun? I don't know how they did it but I liked my time with it.
Beholder is a bit of an odd one, but I'm glad someone picked it up. I didn't love it myself but there's a good game there that I just couldn't get into.
Learn Japanese to Survive, meanwhile, is hopefully educational for a traveler like you!
Thanks for stopping by, and despite getting nine total games, you actually have one spot in your bag left if you want it. If not, no worries, and safe travels, partner!
Thank you, thank you, noble merchant. I shall pray to the brightest star tonight for your health and continued prosperity.
I completely missed out on the Dreamcast in its heyday but I've always been intrigued by the creative titles in its library. I'm particularly looking forward to experiencing Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5, and NiGHTs Into Dreams. The rest truly are bonuses for me, so I think I'll leave the rest for the next lucky bundler. Thanks again for your generosity!
Hya keeper of the barrel you call home
I'll tell you 5 little stories about the things in my basket.
Serial Cleaner looks like my old Hotline Miami days. When I booted up the bundle of screws I call my workstation and couldn't remember where the time went while playing. Now after writing this post and checking other customer's baskets I saw that Kremor already has this in his. May he Hotline Miami with fervor!
GIBZ looks like Hotline Miami from the side. So unless there's actually another copy of Serial Cleaner in the back of your barrel, this will do in the meantime.
White Night is most similar to a favorite game of mine. Amnesia. I plan on couch-playing it with my friend, let's call him Rhino. We both will enjoy some spooky. Same as with the game above, Cleb grabbed this and I'm happy that he did!
Turok got a polish for the modern age? Dude I thought this were awesome graphics when I played it as a youngin. Doesn't look like it in the screenshots on your shelf, but it will like the 90s I reckon.
GRIP: Combat Racing is one of the horsey race genre I would like to try. My experience of this genre is with the Need for Speed franchise, for example. I still remember the Snoop Dog remix of Riders of the Storm while cruising on my steed. A remix that made me fall in love with an old classic song again.
Oh, something else. When I took a looksie at your Strong Liquors cabinet, aptly titled Platformer Pile, I recognized something. On your fine Pongo Whiskey there is actually a Explodemon sticker. Thought I'd point that one out to ya. Same with two other cabinets. In one you put up Resident Evil Revelations 2: Episode One: Penal Colony. On there it is written Just Ignore Them. Third one I found, XBlaze Lost: Memories with a Without Within 2 sticker.
Wow, what a fantastic place you've got here!
If you'd be so kind, I'd love to pick up that copy of Crusader Kings II: Dynasty Starter Pack. I've been wanting to try it for ages.
While I'm at it, I've never been a Sonic Fan but my kid has gotten obsessed with him recently, so I would love to get Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing for him.
Thanks so much!
Greetings, shopkeeper!
I'm interested in Syberia for I have head good things about this gem.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons for it is recommended and looks like something I'd enjoy!
Oh, and Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide for I love a good horde slaying game :D
Thanks for doing this! ^_^
Hi there!
My choices are:
Dex
Streetfighter V
And for my odd choice, Downfall! I've never played a horror game before. Looks spooky.
Thanks so much! What a fun cool thing to do!
I'm so terribly sorry -- another customer reserved Dex but I didn't pull it off the shelf! I looked to see if I could get more stock but prices are very high for that right now, so I won't be able to replace it. I can still check out your other two games though, and keep in mind that you still have three spots left to fill in your bag if you want them.
As for your games, I don't know too much about Street Fighter V, but I think it's brewed up a bit of controversy. Something about netcode or some such? I'm not too sure. I do know a fellow who loves fighting games though, and he plays a lot of it, so I'm sure there's a great game to be had there even if it might have a little bit wrong with it. Nobody's perfect though, right? And we still love them just the same!
As for Downfall, I don't know much about it myself but it looks creepy. Got a neat art style to it. Hope it gives you the shivers!
Equilinox seems nice, one please! As you know I already promised my copy of Equilinox to another customer, but I checked with my suppliers and I was able to get another, just for you. I don't normally do this kind of thing, you know, but I was moved by your generosity in setting up another shop here in town. I know enough about the games market to know that the one you're offering never, EVER goes on discount! You're a generous soul, and I wanted to repay that in kind. People like you make this town a great place to be, you know? Least I can do is get you the one game you wanted!
Note that Whom has already requested for it (and kfwyre promised to keep her bag safe behind the counter).
Whoop! Didn't see that one. To Whom it goes :>
Hello shopkeep! I love that you're doing this for everyone and hope you're still open! If so, I would love to try my hand at Death to Spies, Warhammer 40k Sanctus Reach, and for my strange pick, Paper Fire Rookie. Thanks again shopkeep, I appreciate all that you do for us!
Well hey, that's quite a lot of wares you've acquired. Hey, I won't ask you where you got em all.
If I could pick up that Sonic CD, I think it'd go great in my collection.
As for something unusual, Super Cloudbuilt sure looks pretty out there! You wouldn't mind if I took it off your hands?
Anyways, thanks for running this thing! You're doing a mighty fine service here.
Unfortunately I'm all gone and closed up for now. Sorry partner.
Birds, yo.
Gave the games I had away!
Guess l'll give away a copy of Factorio.Rules:
How much time do you have to spare, and do you have any important finals/events anytime soon? :p
(I'll pick one at random, but having spare time helps since it'll make you miss your deadlines and makes you dream of conveyor belts and inserters at night. Been there, done that.)
Edit: I'll pick a winner 8 hours from now, so at 6pm EDT / 10pm UTC.
Results are in! Used some online name picker to pick some names.
Will DM the factorio keys, anyways. Thanks for participating :)
Wow, that was very generous! Hyper Light Drifter is on my wishlist, so that would be great. Thanks!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
A warning: Since submitting that result comment, I've been playing Factorio. I just checked the clock again and apparently it's suddenly 3AM. Set a timer to go to bed since you will lose track of the time.
Okay, the giveaway being random makes me feel slightly less greedy, so count me in. :P
I guess I'll finally have some time next week and I always wanted to try this, so... I'm in!
I'm very interested in Factorio. Thanks for running this giveaway.
I'm in!
I'll throw my hat in too please/
I would also like to be in the draw. I work from home 40 hours per week but aside from that I technically have a lot of free time. I say technically because the amount of extra time that I can actually stand sitting in this chair beyond my 40 hours at work is somewhat limited. My next important event is a video conference with family and friends tonight, that's about it.
Ooh, I'll toss my hand in for this. Finished all my finals so I got spare time to kill! Thanks for gifting a copy to the community.
LAN Surplus
I host a lot of LAN parties and subsequently have surplus copies of games, some of which have gone f2p after I stock piled them.
If you want any of the listed games the only catch is that you must also take an effectively pointless copy of CSGO off my hands to clear up my inventory.
Age of Empires 2 HD
Omerta - City of Gangsters
Reflex
Insurgency
Starwhal
Streetfighter 4 ultra
Super Hexagon
Skull girls
Europa Univerasalis IV
Tropico 4
Tropico 5
Hello, can I get Tropic 5 please? :)
I haven't played Age of Empires II since I was about 12 years old, but I spent so much time with that game. Apparently it holds up, could I have it? :)
ageo of empires 2 HD would be a treat :-)
Would love a copy of Reflex and/or Skull girls! I haven't tried much arena or fighter games and those look to be highly rated examples of each. Thank you for giving a copy out to the community!
I have some things to give away to. Pseudo random selection by who has the best nickname :-)
GNOGInto the BreachPsychonautsInto the Breach recently got Linux support, so count me in for that.
I've heard about Psychonauts forever, I'd like to give that a go please :)
Oh, and GNOG!
Hey, if you've still got any of these games, I'm interested in Wizard of Legend. Thanks, yo!
This sounds like a great game!
Thanks!
(If your wondering about my username, I took it after reading Grendel by John Gardner. It's a great book)
Hey, I know this is kind of old. I did ask for 1 game already, but if you're still around, I'm interested in Broken Age of you've still got it. Thanks, have a good one!
I am just going to post my list from last time I gave away humble keys. I am not sure if they are still valid, as there is no way to check. When I am at a real computer, I will format it a bit better.

Can I have Brigador: Up-Armored Edition please
Destiny 2 is free to play now, so probably not useful :p
I'd love to take Kero Blaster off your hands!
Yay. From your list I would most enjoy Snake Pass. Already started a bit when I had access to a library of a friend. But that is long PASS. Ehrm. Thanks in advance!
I've had Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition in my inventory for literally 8 years and it annoys me every time i see it. Turns out i dont like the combat of the Batman games, i dont know why i bought it after disliking the original. If you want it please take it off my hands. If you dont want it consider taking it out of pity.ueee ill take it off your hands, always wanted to play it¡
Winner by 30 seconds. Do you want to PM me your steam email address so i can send the game
I enjoyed the batman games. I can take it out of your hands :)
I have "This Is The Police 2" on HumbleBundle. There is only one copy and this is on a first come first serve basis.I have two spare Steam keys for games I already own that I just got from Humble Monthly, so figured I put them up for grabs here:

Yep, I still have it. PM'd the keys to you. Enjoy! :)
