Most things in my house will survive - either leaving them be or escorting them outside. I expand this even more into my workplace, where people usually swat and stomp any critters. When I find a little fella in a public spot like a bathroom I often carry them outside. 'Even more' in this case is because I know others would crush it. Living in Switzerland, mosquitos aren't this big of a deal. Biting midges and mosquitos are thus about the same danger level. Meaning they also only die if it's impossible to save them or leave them be.

But, The Curious Case of Not Hiring Directly into Software Engineer V, Or Whatever by the same author I really enjoyed (it's also linked by one of the hyperlinks in this article).
I liked it mostly because I'm a harsh critic when it comes to stiff hierarchical organization in business. -

I heard about this wonderful place on reddit, posted in Official Invite Requests Round 13 and yay, misterw sent me an invite link.
From past experiences on forums and the like I generally react in a positive way when I can find out something quite 'insider' about a place or a country. It just feels nice to get local knowledge in an online way. My nationality is 🇨🇭Swiss and I'm open to communicating a) with other Swiss people to be amazed at the odds of several people of that small country finding their way to Tildes. And b) with people from nations I could see myself visiting in the future. I read about the bio in this thread - so I will write some places I'd like to visit in there. :)
I am dabbling in lurking, writing a few respones and getting better in labeling posts. First I always felt joy when I was labeling something Exemplary and the left border of the comment turned blue. But then I found out it does that everytime, at least for the view I have.
See you around and who knows, maybe I continue my search for fellow Swiss people in the next Intro thread.
PS: Almost forgot - Gruvbox Dark or bust!

When I don't, it's similar to the 2nd to last paragraph in my post: Maybe they can stay uncategorized and bugger right off, haha.
And I really don't feel the need through my gaming habits to breaking them down by genre or type. By status yes, but then my Favorites group covers that. Fav'd: Playing / want to play soon. Non-fav'd and in category: Not playing / want to play eventually. -

Favorites (the functionality that's built in)
! Lounge (= 'after a normal day' games. about half single, half multiplayer. ! for alphabetical reasons)
Achieving (= where I still want to complete / see stuff I haven't yet)
Amazon (= Stuff I bought cheap from Amazon. These are not the best games but they meant at least a little)
Bundles with same initial words (= Amnesia, Commandos, Hitman, LEGO, Penumbra, Stalker)
Free or cheap (= gifted, bought for <0.20 or giveaway Games)
Humble Bundle (= like Amazon)
Other Bundles (= like Amazon)
Shoulda Woulda Coulda (= Things that would be awesome to play, but there have been better alternatives)
Steam Sales (= like Amazon but from Steam Sales. Don't buy much in Sales anymore)
Tildesuser/kfwyre (= no joke, the games from your gifting landed here to group them^.^)So I group them after where I got them from, apparently. Apart from the '!' in Lounge I didn't need any alphabetical-scumming and I'm happy with the order of the groups. Games I play at the moment rarely do not get put into Favorites.
What I do every other year or so is look through the uncategorized list of games. And every time still feel amazed that they can IMO just stay there and there's no need to categorize them so they get played more. :D
Oh and hi feigneddork, thanks for your answer about idbloc.co :) And my list doesn't have render problems, but I don't scroll around too often to notice these days.

Well in my view of it you don't need to actually form a polyamorous relationship (well yeah maybe if you transition from mono to poly you set guidelines and stuff). It's more like being someone who has fun rollerblading or feeling more like hand shakes and not hugs. You just feel that way!
And then the changes come slowly but can become remarkable. For example the general view in the society around me is if you fall in love with someone else than your boy-/girlfriend then you have a problem of unfaithfulness. But falling in love is totally not frowned upon while poly and you can just enjoy it. There's more layers and stuff to talk about with your several special someones but if you dont shy away from being truthful and respectful, you will learn how to act. Or how to ask someone out and feel the right time to tell them you're poly and whether they had experiences with it.
edit: Thanks to MimicSquid for nr. 2 and turning it blue, haha.
That's all, folks. -

Yes! And because it‘s Tildes I add that sometimes I get to know people where insular acts of community are possible. Where I don’t need to play social ‚games‘ as to speak. That’s where I bloom.
