Tyrienne I believe he is accurate on all points, does anyone disagree? If so, I want to understand alternative perspectives on how being on the internet less could be detrimental...I believe he is accurate on all points, does anyone disagree?

Tyrienne I wish this were a longer video, it seemed like a great introduction, but I felt there should be more depth as to the current ramifications and how else this plays out in modern Japan.I wish this were a longer video, it seemed like a great introduction, but I felt there should be more depth as to the current ramifications and how else this plays out in modern Japan.

For the past hundred years the legality of being non-Christian or being misinterpreted as 'evil' has been a serious problem for both sides of my family and others of similar cultural upbringing...so I earned my degree in Theology to become a legally recognised chaplain to give European polytheism more credibility.
Then...The marvel "Thor" movies happened, as did GoT, and ''Vikings". Now our issues are not polytheism being accepted, but rather, our indiginous cultures bring erased by loose fictions and poorly researched neopaganism based on popular media.
There so so abysmally few left of the indigenous cultures from which I was raised our voices get lost and lumped in unfairly with the Asatru.😑

I wish there was a word to differentiate the medical definition of 'trigger' verses the rather new social context.
I have started to refer to health issues as 'episodes'... it is easier than attempting to 'take back' the former use of the word from 'something that precipitates a negative medical event' as opposed to 'may cause upset'.
...Although putting "TRIGGER WARNING" on artificial sweetners and strongly scented detergents would amuse me greatly and likely help many also enduring headaches a great deal :3
Edited to add: my primary PTSD episodes are related to interrogation and specific places. I just avoid the news.

The first guy arrived for ten minutes, took photos, and left. The next day, the boss came, spent half an hour complaining about the first guy, then claimed his tools were broken, then left.
The third guy spent a few hours here, fixed up everything, then asked me not to leave a negative review on his coworkers because they need the contract with our water company.
My plumbing damage was a result of a month of flooding. An hour after he left my phone began to scream regarding yet another flood alert.

I ended up a victim of a pharmaceutical malpractice scheme perpetuated by my specialist and ended up with two days of inbox harrassment from reps of the pharmaceutical company, even after deleting the post.
The only applicable advice I recieved was "Call your local bar association".
The inbox messages were much appreciated for my case, though...🙂
It has been decent on other matters, but I would use more caution in the future.

I posted on r/legaladvice about an issue I have regarding medical malpractice regarding a personal experience of finding my doctor was openly paid off by a pharmaceutical company...and not only did I recieve a huge amount of downvotes, but also two solid days of inbox harrassment from invested drug company representatives.
After that experience, I knew Reddit was not the healthiest environment. I ditched fb months ago, and I hope this will grow to be a new refuge.
