A ton of fantastic TTRPG writers and designers contributed to it. The adventure recently completed Kickstarter fulfillment.

The GR1 is bigger than it seems, for sure. I bought an Echo when they still made them. They're essentially the same backpack, but smaller. I get a lot use out of it. I hear you about shipping....

I hear you about shipping. That sucks. If you find a large kit bag on eBay, I highly recommend it. It fills a similar role as a duffle bag, but has a different, more manageable, shape. I love mine. It makes a great airplane carry on bag.

That definitely seems the case. Have you seen Nimona? Blue Sky was making it when Disney acquired Fox, but Disney eventually killed it. Netflix picked it up and finished it. It's on Netflix now....

The movie is fantastic. The art design. The animation. The characters. The story. They enhanced the graphic novel it's based on, too.

It just shows what Disney literally could have been, but simply isn't.

The OS uses swipe gestures in place of Android's back, home, and task switcher navigation buttons. The pull-down settings and notifications menus are still there.

The physical page turning buttons are the most important part of the user interface, to me. They're there, and they work. If you don't like the built-in reader, just install another one, like KOReader.

I haven't measured how long the battery lasts. I know I can read at least four 500+ page books on a single charge.

I've had mine for about three months. I got it right after a major update. Since then, I've had two minor ones.

The UI is Android. It's responsive -- for an eink device.

When you put it that way, it makes a lot of sense. I bought the DCC Dying Earth boxed set, but haven't had a chance to try anything yet. I'm really looking forward to it.

I really want to run Court of Chaos! To be honest, I know Sailors on the Starless Sea is a classic, but I honestly don't get it. What do you like about it?

Awesome write up! I agree with all of your points. My group and I have played a bunch of DCC and love it. Funnels (and even other published adventures) are great for one shots and conventions....

I have the "collapse old comments when I return to a topic" setting turned on, but I can't quite figure out how it works. For example, when open a new topic for the first time and scroll through the comments, the next time I open the topic, they're all still open.

Does anyone have more details about how this feature works or how I should be using it?

I couldn't agree with you more. I wished Captain Shaw from Picard S3 had gotten his own show. Maybe, he got all sorts of medals and accolades for saving Starfleet that he gets assigned to the types of missions he hates. So, we get to follow a reluctant captain who's put in the same situations as Picard and River. Maybe, he eventually grows, finds away to get promoted out of his job (working at the fleet museum!), and gives the Captain's chair to Seven.
