I am also an extremely light sleeper. Everyone here has been talking about covering up the sounds and sights, but if you are like me then adding something into your environment is also going to be distracting.

So I recommend regularly working out, or increasing the workout you may already do. By doing this I have found I sleep deeper, even when I am still woken up regularly. I don't know the full science behind it, I have heard exercise helps produce natural melatonin and endorphins, and I put a link at the bottom here. But being sufficiently worn out from healthy exercise is the only thing that consistently works for me. Good luck.

A 2022 Kia EV6. No one we run into seems to know what it is, but it's an amazing battery electric car. We snagged the tax credit before they stopped it, and talked down the dealer to a small markup last year. Just extremely lucky and have been enjoying the car so much. We were driving a 2009 Pontiac with nearly 200k miles on it before, so quite a change.

Sidenote, the only thing I've missed about reddit is the niche communities for things like a specific model of car, where everyone geeks out together about it.

I like this idea, it definitely has potential to not isolate communities. One thing that reddit did not maintain was limiting cross posting, they actually went and made it easier to cross post and IMO made larger subs atrocious since the same content would appear across different subs with different titles.

In this percolation system, how would cross posts be dealt with? Would ~games be inundated with every highly voted version of the same article?

My company is a SaaS start up for a very niche field of aerospace engineering, and as a result it's nearly impossible for us to find a project manager. I'm considering picking up skills to fulfill that role in the next year or so, since we are making do but are expecting to grow rapidly soon.

    My questions are:

    1. What skills or courses would help me market myself to the company, and
    2. Do you have any tips on dealing with excessive context switching? (Currently tasked with administrative work, novel research, software dev, and algorithm dev).

    Thank you.

We mostly cook at home, and my wife especially loves trying new recipes. I'm much simpler, I eat roughly the same lunch every day for instance. So since she was out of town this past week, we made a giant pot of cauliflower and chick pea tikka masala and I've been eating a serving of that each night. Absolutely delicious, especially with the extra spice I added to it.
