I feel like my nutrition in general is good, but I certainly won’t turn down an excuse to eat a massive juicy steak.

I don’t even have any idea what my blood type is. I wish I knew, but it seems like the only way for me to find out is to give blood. The problem with that is that I can’t. I have made it about 10min in at the longest, and the finger prick to test the hemoglobin at the worst. The finger prick was downright embarrassing but also pretty hilarious.

Come to think of it, that make be why they won’t let me come back. They might think I will fall over when I walk through the door next time.

It’s not really a weird way in my eyes. I’ve talked to her about the different things that I’m interested in, the things that I want to do. We have a healthy relationship and we talk about these things. With that being said, she has absolutely no interest in trying any of the things that I have mention or even considering it.

It is important to me. It is not important to her.

I have always had a lot of control in my life. Even as a kid my parents were really trusting of me and I was allowed to do pretty much whatever I wanted as long as I communicated with them and didn’t do anything stupid to break that trust.

When I was in my late teens/early 20’s I met a girl that was into some more kinky stuff. We played around with some stuff, but again I was in control and she would be the one getting tied up. She wanted to flip the roles but I wasn’t interested. We ended up making a bet on something, I can’t even remember what, but I lost and had to do anything she wanted for an entire weekend. It broke me and I absolutely loved it. I’d never felt so helpless or humiliated. We ended up having a great sex life taking turns in the different roles.

Unfortunately there were some other issues in the relationship and we ended up splitting. Years later I met the woman who is now my wife. Our sex life is good, but there is still a part of me that misses that excitement. My wife isn’t into that kind of thing, either being submissive or dominant, so being able to explore BDSM is no longer possible for me unless I cheat on her and that isn’t something I’d ever do.

I had no idea that such a system even existed. You can take a 40hr course to make $65 per hour. This woman is a parasite, and the system is predatory.

I work in healthcare, specifically designing and implementing solutions for folks with mobility challenges. I partner with therapists in facilities like care homes, come up with a plan for getting the client around (wheelchair to bed, into/out of the bathtub…etc). Essentially it’s a job where healthcare meets electronics repair and construction. I work with facilities to design a system, I lead the charge in modifying the structure and installing the system, and I service them as well. I work with ceiling lifts, ramps, vertical platform lifts, stair lifts, change tables… pretty much any equipment that the client needs.

It’s a really rewarding job. I get to work with patients all the way from small children to the elderly. Facilities from schools, to care homes and private residences. I get to meet loads of interesting people that are happy to share their stories with me. I am also fortunate to have a team to lead that trusts and respects me.

My job history has lots of variety to it, and I have worked for lots of companies. Upper management at my current company didn’t see it as job hopping but rather as something that made me very well rounded with lots of experience. A recruiter representing them actually reached out to me on LinkedIn, and the rest is history. I’d never considered a job in healthcare, but I can’t see myself ever leaving.

I love the whole series that they have been doing, having drummers come in and try to learn songs on the spot. My two favourites at this point have been Larnell Lewis and Chad Smith, both for very different reasons.

I started learning drums about a decade ago, and Drumeo was a huge part of keeping that drive going. I learned a lot from watching their videos. I actually got the chance to meet someone that worked on the channel a number of years ago while I was working at Apple. They were having issues with a computer and I was the one lucky enough to fix it. I was invited to the studio for a tour after we were talking drums and such the entire visit. I am still kicking myself to this day that I didn’t make time and take him up on the offer. It would have been an insane experience.

Also “punk shuffle” is a great term. I will never hear that song the same way again.

If I am expected to be ready to work, then I am getting paid the entire time whether I do any work or not. If they want me to be on call for 24hrs, then they have to pay me as if I worked the entire 24hrs. If they want to avoid paying overtime on that then they can also give me the entire following day off.

    Otherwise absolutely not.

If you liked the suggestion for Jolly, I would also suggest Sorted Food and Fallow. Both of those are more cooking related, with Fallow being a restaurant. I really enjoy the content on all three channels for different reasons.

Let me know if you end up trying that quarter pounder and whether you like it. Hopefully it gets you an even better Big Mac experience!

I like the Big Mac as well. My only issue with it is the patties. They are too thin and it’s not enough of that meaty texture I want from a burger. However, the Double Big Mac also just doesn’t cut it for me. I’m not a fan of the patties, and adding more of them doesn’t make it better. What I do now is I order a double quarter pounder, no ketchup or mustard, and add Big Mac sauce. That takes the cake for me on that front.

I’m not sure if you have seen this, but it’s a YouTube channel called Jolly. It’s an episode of them putting various things in a Big Mac. It’s hilarious, but also some pretty great ideas come from it.

Chico Chicken, OZ Korean Fried Chicken (Coquitlam), and Hi Five Chicken are all good options.

The best that I’ve had outside of Popeyes is Vonns down on Denman. I don’t get out there often, but that’s also a damn good sandwich.
