You might want to exchange it for a larger hard drive. 64gb will run out pretty quickly as you start learning your way around apples ecosystem

As someone whose first memory is of their dad taking them to a bar with a pool table. Dad was awesome at taking peoples money at the pool table. He would sit me up at the bar and tell the bartender to give me as many Shirley temples as I wanted. At the time I didn’t understand it. I just saw a lot of people having fun but when we got home my mom would ball his a$$ out. MY KIDS WONT BE AN ALCOHOLIC LIKE YOU.

The alcohol quickly progressed over my lifetime and by the age of 14 I was working to help support my family because he added cocaine and crack to the mix.

Watching all of this it took me till I was 30 to finally process it. I was scared I would become him or my grandfather who happen to be an alcoholic until he turned about 50. It was until 31 that I tried my first drink and today I’m a social drinker who hates being drunk. It’s the worst feeling, I’m not happy the next the day. I say all of this to say; yes one can have alcoholics in their bloodline and they themselves not repeat the same mistake. With that said I think it helped that I had finished school, had a career and a fully developed brain. Lol

It pretty much sums it up with one quote from the article “It’s just an attempt to compensate for poor animal husbandry“ this is the main reason I support and try my best to buy from my CSA farm. (CSA.org) It’s happy protein. An animal who lead a wonderful life. I’m almost wished we moved to having smaller farms to supply food to each neighborhood and bankrupt these idiots who only care about the bottom line and ensuring the CEO makes 300% more than the lowest paid employees or better yet making all employees 1099 to further proffer.

Back in the day I used to babysit and the kids ages 5 and up would show me the porn they would watch at home. I knew the parents personally and the parents didn’t watch porn. The kids learned from their friends and happen to have parents that didn’t care how they used their tablets.

I’m for the ban and if you really need a porn fix, just get a vpn. Once you trigger the vpn you can access all ur favorite videos, if that is ur cup of tea.

I use Tuta, also known as Tutanota. They guarantee privacy by not treating users as the product and provides end-to-end encryption for both emails and calendars. Additionally, they introduced quantum encryption, addressing potential threats from new AI technologies that malicious entities might use to decrypt passwords. They offer a free account to try their service but I pay around $5 per month. I also like that they listen to their customers. They are open source and you can view upcoming sprints and I’ve been able to add new functionality by posting the suggestion to their subreddit.

Im part of the EPMO of a healthcare system. We just got licenses and an intro to co-pilot for teams, word, excel , PowerPoint.

I swear this AI will tell you all the questions asked during a meeting. If you join a meeting late you can ask it to recap the meeting thus far. Did you get a sales presentation from a vendor you need to recap and present to stakeholders. Ask co pilot to create a pdf from the documentation the vendor provided.

AI is making my job so much easier but at the same time I kinda feel like I’m training my replacement.

Are you using AI at your job, how are you using it and how do you feel about it use in the workplace and if it will one day replace you?

The only downside I’ve seen is they need to verify you every year. I’ve been with them for over 3 years and this go around they needed a utility bill and a copy of my id. They put my account on pause for about 3 weeks while they verified everything and kinda created a bit of havoc in my life as everything was being declined (due to their hold) and I didn’t want to give my actual card number to anyone. Once resolved life went back to normal and I can sing their praises but damn! My bank doesn’t need to verify my identity and residential address every year.

All in all I love Privacy.com

For some reason I think this is more than just buying an entity out. I think it may have to do more with shuffling and balancing the debt so they are solvent as one vs having more risk being separate
