Agreed. I'm a big fan of his newer stuff but this just felt like minimal effort on his part. I'm really starting to believe the whole Kanye West as Andy Kauffman theory.

Most running specialty shops have a treadmill combined with video gait analysis software. It's worth seeking one out. Something else to think about are minimal shoes that mimic running barefoot....

Your form has to be good and it has taken me some years to get it right but it has drastically increased my effeciency and all around enjoyment.

I like your wording 'not squeezing every ounce of its soul out'. Very apt in this case.

Currently doing my best to go vegetarian. Been doing one meat day/meal per week for a few months now and it's not as difficult as I thought. I will eat animals that I have caught or killed myself as hunting and fishing are a big part of my culture and upbringing, not gonna let that go anytime soon. In short, as long as the animal is not mistreated I'm ok with it being food.

Any other outdoorsmen in the same boat?
