Comment on There’s a slew of “potential new” Star Trek shows underway, per report in ~tv
gonesnake Like many, I'm most interested in any series that isn't a prequel, sequel or parallel story to any of the known series. Set something post-TNG/Voyager/DS9. Give us more of the 'history of the future'.Like many, I'm most interested in any series that isn't a prequel, sequel or parallel story to any of the known series. Set something post-TNG/Voyager/DS9. It's always interesting to me to enjoy a joke or humorous scenario then to dissect and analyze what makes it work. Is it Silly? Unexpected? Smart? Weird? Situational? Physical?
All of those aspects come into play and I can't get enough of watching people that are good at it.

Eventually ran through Rolands, Akais, Yahamas, Korgs and a buttload of sequencers and squawk boxes. I've reduced it down to a few items just to make it less overwhelming.

gonesnake I've been a synth/keyboard player since the 80's. Played in a few bands, had some music in a few short films and now I just sit around recording the occasional song.I've been a synth/keyboard player since the 80's. gonesnake Back in the Sega days I never played the NHL or NBA games but games like 'Mutant League Hockey' or 'Arch Rivals' were just enough of a twist as to make the game interesting.Back in the Sega days I never played the NHL or NBA games but games like 'Mutant League Hockey' or 'Arch Rivals' were just enough of a twist as to make the game interesting.

gonesnake I'm not even a big 'story' person in videogames, usually more concerned with setting and solid mechanics but, I did find the story in this one to be pretty engaging.I'm not even a big 'story' person in videogames, usually more concerned with setting and solid mechanics but, I did find the story in this one to be pretty engaging.

Stephen Frye's Great Leap Years. The melodious voice of a wonderfully wry Brit giving us the history of some of the world's greatest inventions. Fun and educational with enough humour to carry it over.
