Beyond that, I do tend to read at night, before going to bed. I find that it helps calm my thoughts and disconnect from the events of that day.

I really hope more people will sign up to be monthly contributors; enough so @deimos can work on this full time. I think most people can afford $10/month.

That said, i3wm will do exactly what you're asking from a tiling standpoint. It's what I use every day and I've got certain apps configured to launch to certain monitors (I have three that I use). And, I can tile them within a certain monitor. So I have three instances of my terminal tiled on a single monitor. It takes some fiddling to set up just the way you want it, but once you have it there, it works great.

The mobile stuff is tightly integrated with the desktop stuff and so you can work from wherever you are, using whatever device you prefer at that time. So I'll start a document on my desktop, then head out to meetings and whatnot where I can do light editing from my iPad. I'm sure this is possible to set up using the on prem stuff, but it Just Works on O365 without a lot of hassle.

And, as a newly-converted O365 user, it's actually a great experience. They've integrated mobile and desktop very well, so you can use either or both interchangeably. It's an honestly better user experience than the old, on prem model that I've used for years.

I was actually a die-hard Macbook fan until their most recent model where they completely ruined the keyboard. The Dell XPS has been an excellent replacement with a much better keyboard.
It's also Linux-friendly if that's your thing.
Just as an FYI, 1Password has now come out with linux support via their browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox. I'm using it now and it works great -- seamlessly integrates with their desktop apps.
