Some of my childhood was in the UK though where they (at least they used to) use both for the forecast, but F is still meaningless to me apart from 100 being bloody hot by UK standards. The funny thing about Australia is that despite being entirely metric, most people still think in feet for human heights, so it's pretty common to see suspected criminals described as being "approximately" 183cm in the news. 183cm being ~6ft.

Further to OPs question the only things I miss from android are apps that could be used for illegal purposes, namely torrent clients and retro game emulators.
Oh and also FE file explorer is awesome and can access and copy media on your local network and phone. Comes with a built in media player and document viewer, so you do kind of have access to the file system.

I was 18 and I had recently left an abusive mother and was living on own for the first time, I was lost and confused. I'd gotten interested in psychedelics and thought they might provide me some kind of insight or revelation to help bring me out of the turmoil I was experiencing. Bereft of money and contacts I learnt that a nearby park was known for magic mushrooms, so consulted the online resources that were available in the early 2000's and went about searching for them. I found what I believed to be liberty caps, went home and ate them. Nothing happened. I didn't trip, but wasn't sick either. I had no idea what I was doing and if I had got the wrong ones, things could have gone very bad, very quickly.
EDIT: To answer the second part of your question, not much. Just be careful. I can't say I've heeded that advice consistently over the years.

My tent was at the top of a hill within the campsite, but the entrance and reception building was at the bottom of the hill. It was late at night, the building was closed and nobody was around. Before climbing the hill to go to bed, I thought I'd sit on a picnic table facing the reception and smoke a cigarette. While smoking I looked over at a vending machine attached to the reception building and lamented the fact that I had no money as I would really like a Twirl (a British chocolate bar). The very second I thought this I heard a clunk, clunk and went over to the machine to discover it had dispensed two Twirls for me.

Grab an M&S sandwich and coffee/beer/drinkofyourchoice and grab a taxi to one of the west (of) London parks and enjoy some fresh air before getting back inside a metal tube. Bushy Park is closest and, imo, best.
