Soccer definitely has to balance those two as well. This World Cup heavily featured video assistant referee (VAR) and there weren't really that many hitches with it, but it's easy to foresee situations where there would be. Not all major competitions are adopting it yet though, so we'll be able to compare refereeing with or without VAR a bit.

Pretty sad for Andy Serkis after his passion project gets delayed and Disney's (which was greenlit later) came out earlier and did so well.

Personally, S2 and everything onwards for Parks and Rec feels like a totally different show. It was originally gonna be a spinoff of the Office, so that's where the cringe part comes in. S1 was sort of stuck in between that Office spinoff/new show area, so the show wasn't really able to find itself until S2 where it embraced its own identity.

It may not have the exact same tone as the Good Place, but it definitely gets close.

The Good Place is fantastic. It's a comedy with the same warm feel as Parks and Rec (same creator, Mike Schur is awesome) plus it's heavy in philosophy. Seems like a weird combo, but it works...

Seems like a weird combo, but it works really well. S1 was really awesome, but S2 was something special. It takes a lot of sitcom tropes and completely turns them on their heads. Highly highly recommend

S1 is on Netflix and S2 will probably join it in the next few months

Definitely agree on this point. It's just head-scratching how bad this Cavs roster is. You see nobody besides LeBron, Korver, and sometimes Love putting in any effort. Other guys like Cedi Osman who might shine if given the chance aren't given the minutes by Lue (and instead, people like JR get them). It's sad that LeBron might have to leave his hometown team for the SECOND time to find a playable roster. Gilbert and the Cavs FO are ridiculously bad. They've given such terrible contracts out to Thompson, JR, Shumpert, etc. And then they turn Kyrie, the biggest thing keeping Lebron there, into basically just the #8 pick.

I feel like they really needed to have kept a player like Dellavedova on the roster. He's the type of guy who's the heart and soul of a team, the one who lifts everyone else up with him. Celtics have Smart and Morris, Warriors have Draymond, but Rockets seem to be lacking one ever since Beverley was traded for Chris Paul.

But honestly... I'm a Celtics fan so I should probably be happy the Cavs are imploding ;) (unless that leads LeBron right to Philly)

Sorry for the late response, just saw this.

Idk, I feel like they reached as far as they could get with this team under this coach. It's true they just had their best-ever regular season, but part of that seemed to just be relative since Boston and Cleveland didn't focus on the regular season that much anyway. And then they fell apart in the playoffs to LeBron as per usual. It's just shocking that they haven't been able to steal a game from the Cavs this year or last year. Though DeRozan and Lowry always choke in the playoffs, I think a ton of the blame should fall on Casey. The Raptors have great depth, and should've been able to shut down some of the non-Lebron Cavs players easily. Korver and Love should've been the only ones giving them problems, and they even have the players to take Love out of the game too.

I definitely think getting rid of Casey was the right idea, but I just have no clue where they go from here. Kawhi should be the #1 target. That might be super unrealistic though since nobody has any clue what's going on with the Spurs. Very few teams are in needs of point guards right now, so I'm not sure where Lowry can be traded to.

I don't think you guys are in for a rough time, though. You still have two All-Stars, a great rotation, and an extremely smart GM in Masai :)
