The town itself is absolutely bursting with quality home gardens as well, the wander through the neighborhood was gorgeous.
Honestly I'd say just find a spot about an hour in the tube out of town with something cool and you'll love the change in vibes. Totally different being in the burbs where people are just living their lives.

Oh and I've played both those steam games and recommend! The former is definitely a bit thinky thinky and harder to tease out than others I've played. Corridor is just non stop unexpected turns and fun, definitely worth the 2 hours!

It took until Odin for...I imagine a lot of people don't appreciate the truly Herculean effort involved. I was part of a MapleStory private server from before there was even a source available. It took until Odin for anyone to have anything to play, and it took something like 2 years to have a super buggy version 1.
Plus, the skills are niche with limited commercial applicability. Turning Wireshark captures into a working game server is crazy, and I can't think of many jobs that would need that.
I'm a few years past mine and a few years under you. It sucks. Sucks sucks. But ultimately for the best, can't get caught in something that the other doesn't want.
I took a year before I started to really feel like myself again, and now a couple years after that I'm starting to feel like a new version of myself. It takes time, and of course therapy. Good luck and happy to chat whenever, London is gonna be awesome!
