Comment on Manchester United to vote on selling minority stake to Sir Jim Ratcliffe as Qataris "pull out" in ~sports.football

With regards to United and Ratcliffe, it just seems he likes United and wants it to get better (on top of possibly making money).

Manchester City was fourteenth the season before its acquisition.
If you're a wealthy person interested in sport like Sir Jim Ratcliffe, it makes sense to purchase an underperforming club and attempt to improve its performance. He has done that across other sports before. Business-wise we'll see if it's a smart investment, but both the Glazers and Sheik Jassim inherited their wealth. At least Ratcliffe has enough business acumen to found and run INEOS. He's also worth more than either of them.

I have PayPal as I used to use it for eBay payments for years. Sometimes I'll pay with that but it's out of laziness (no need to create an account for the store).

I'm following a three-day-a-week full body workout program I found online. So far, so good. On top of that I've always forced myself to walk at least 10,000 steps a day.
My main fitness "issue" (in quotes because it's not causing any health problems) is that, even as I approach 30 years old, I have severe trouble gaining weight.

His first season at PSG was very impressive but it was all for nothing as PSG is a poorly run club. After that, he was overshadowed by Mbappé and then (ironically) Messi.

- Contribute to 401k (automatically set up to max out so no action necessary)
- Pay any credit card bills due
- Contribute to IRA (sometimes automatic, sometimes I do it manually)
- Contribute to general high percentage yield savings account
After that, I consider my money being "free". I can do whatever I want with it, and some months will result in more savings, some in less. For example, I have a large monthly expense for the next three months, so I'll probably spend less money going out and waiting until that clears before moving money into savings.

Here's a good video from a fan channel about the tactics United can use next season.
You could say the same about traditional credit cards. From you, they're making money from merchant fees. From other people they make money from interest on late payments.
