Every other year besides this one I have suffered from several injuries on all of my teams, but this year I seem to have zero injuries on my two teams. I guess this is great considering I kept Michael Thomas on my team a year or two ago when he was out for nearly the entire season, hoping he would come back and save my team (that didn't happen).
Anyways, just wanted to see if anyone else was doing as well as me, think I have a shot of winning this year which I've never done before.

Comment on 'Fuck Spez': Reddit users unite to turn r/Place mural into a protest in ~tech
squeakycleanswine I always find it funny when I click to see the usernames of people who are writing "Fuck Spez" and then go to their profiles only to see they actively post daily and have reddit premium or something.I always find it funny when I click to see the usernames of people who are writing "Fuck Spez" and then go to their profiles only to see they actively post daily and have reddit premium or something.

Just the occasional couple of people I'm subscribed to who upload every once in awhile. That's why I'm thankful for these adblock extensions that are not only free, but work on every website.
I'd rather give my money to the devs of ublock than to youtube and their greedy corporate strategy.

If it's truly that easy, why are people still feeding into netflix's idiocy? It doesn't make any sense, netflix isn't providing better service than these websites anymore so I do wonder what it is keeping people on their platform.

Was wondering if there was any kind of meaning behind it all or if it was just some weird thing that sprouted up one day. Truth be told I had no idea there was even a barbie movie coming out.
Anyways, I'll probably be one of those 200 thousand people on opening day watching oppenheimer. Been anticipating this one all year since I love christopher nolan's movies. Hope this one doesn't let me down (even though I doubt it will, I'm a bit of a history buff so this is right up my alley).

Especially since they're saying you still need a battle.net account, it would make no sense for them to modify the games specifically for steam and add some sort of ingame login system only for the steam version. Seems like that would be a waste of time and money to me. But who knows, maybe they'll surprise us.

We still have cable at our house mainly because of sports, but there's also a few programs that we would have to pay YET ANOTHER subscription to watch, which is simply not going to happen. To be quite honest, there is no good option right now. Especially with hulu and netflix both having subscription tiers that feature ads (which was another major thing streaming had over cable), it's really becoming less and less worth it to stack up on these streaming services. You're paying for ads on multiple streaming services, the costs add up to a significant amount per month, and cable isn't really that much better in terms of value.
We as consumers basically have no good options at the present moment (besides piracy of course), and the situation does not look like it will be improving any time soon, especially with the news that netflix is still gaining subscribers. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I'm not.

People can say they are going to leave netflix because of the password sharing drama, but there's one huge thing that netflix provides that can't be matched by piracy: convenience. Netflix simply provides a much more convenient and user friendly experience to it's users that most people wouldn't want to sacrifice. In the end, Netflix keeps winning, piracy's general audience remains the same, and the world keeps on ticking.

Recently discovered dwarf fortress, and holy hell, no wonder the game has the following it does. Sure, it's slightly complicated, though I think a lot of that comes from the ascii version which I tried out of curiosity after playing the steam version and it's night and day. But with the steam version, it's incredibly seamless once you play for about 10 hours and have an idea of how to start out. The story of your fortress' rise and fall is always interesting, and I'm looking forward to starting my next one soon. Would definitely suggest buying this one, $30 is not a lot for a game with infinite replay-ability and that has developers that claim they will "keep developing the game for the rest of their lives".
