    I wore the Panerai for most of my time in sg (~15yrs). Wife and I decided to move to America and I wanted a new watch to mark the start of my next phase in life.

    Buying in Singapore was still a bit expensive, and I’m PR so no VAT refund. DFS at Changi didn’t have the model I wanted.

    Then while changing planes in Tokyo to go America, I passed an Omega shop. They had the design I wanted and It was like 20% less! I grabbbed it.

    Been here ~4 years and my wrist is still very happy. So much lighter than the Panerai.

    I have a couple. A man doesn’t get to wear much Jewelry so a nice watch can be a luxury. I lived in Singapore for many years and watches are definitely a thing for men to show status. my watches

    I’m yank. I’ve always though Absolutely Fabulous was… well… absolutely fabulous. Graham Norton is right up there for me too. That show is always a riot.
