Belmo is a class act - he is so down to earth and I love watching him bowl. I need to go grab a few YouTube videos of him so you can watch him having fun. The serious moments of PBA broadcasts are all well and good, but he’s done some really cool collabs with other bowlers and content creators to produce some neat videos.

Maybe I’ll give the remake a try! I blasted through AC: New Horizons as I picked it up on launch day..it got me through the initial year of COVID/quarantine and was well worth it. I think I’m at 600+ hours (which is crazy!). But I don’t have the energy to go back into it, so maybe something new is the ticket!

I lost weight in 2019 but gained it back during COVID. Thankfully, I didn't go higher than when I lost weight, but I'm ready to lose weight and take control of my health again. I'm hoping this food change + exercise will help.

I was never a huge Pokemon fan. My parents didn't let me play it growing up (don't ask me why 🙄) and as an adult I've never been able to get into it.

Man, I had so much fun when The Division first came out. I used to work at GameStop so my coworkers and I would find a game to hyperfixate on for a few weeks and we'd all play together.

I'm very excited for CS:II. I casually play CS:I vanilla - haven't purchased a single DLC or content creator pack. I don't think I'm going to preorder or purchase Day 0 - maybe wait a few months for the first bit of fixes and things to get ironed out. But I love the new utility management (everything under roads). City Planner Plays is my favorite content creator on YouTube for CS:I and I plan to keep watching his analysis of the trailers and videos they release.

I just decided to buy Kingdoms and Castles Complete Edition because it's on sale. What other games should I check out? I have a Switch and Mac ecosystem for my games.

When he behaves!!! He's simultaneously the smartest cat I've ever had and the dumbest. What a little goofball.

It was the first week in April, 2020, and I had just been informed that schools (I'm an educator) would be closed for the rest of the year. My husband was on permanent work from home. I said, "I love you, but I will go crazy in this house with just you in it. Let's get a cat." (Mind you, I had been trying to make him into a cat person since we started dating in 2011, so it only took a global pandemic to change his mind!)

We got the very last appointment the shelter had for adoptions before they closed permanently for COVID. We got to pick 2 cats to see. The first came in with a limp and bloody gums, so while he was sweet, we informed staff right away so he could get medical care. In came our cat. He was the one I wanted in the first place, but I knew I had to see 2 to make sure. Our kitty immediately was loud, purring, meowing, and rubbing allllll over us, so we took him home.

Now, he's a 16 pound cat who acts like a 3 year old and screams when he doesn't get what he wants. He was perfect company while we were both stuck at home and gave us someone to talk to and care for when the world was ending around us. He's spoiled rotten and owns the house, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Edit: cat tax! the day I took him home, 3 days after his arrival, making himself at home, in bed with me, stealing my side of the bed

My personal favorite is https://frvr.com/ - free, web-based games that have 0 ads. A few are odd, a few are classics, and a few are new and exciting. Hex Frvr is my favorite puzzle game on the site.

I am an educator on summer break, so my creative goals this summer are to finish several diamond painting kits and do some acrylic paintings for my home. I have a goal of creating a seasonal painting which I swap out on a specific spot in my kitchen each month to bring some fun decor.

The next goal is to convince my husband to purchase another bookshelf so I can expand my space... I'm running out of room!
