I work outside, and I am on my phone a lot. Too much, for sure. Battery is good. Speakers are decent. Headphone jack still works, I think. I don't use headphones often so who knows.
It works, and is reliable. That's why I like it. It is a touch too big, but I also have it in an otterbox because I kill phones easily.
It does what I want, when I want it. That's all i need from a phone.

Hopefully you have a good developer left nearby, as well. A friend is a professional sports photographer and does a lot of prints. Our major camera stores have gone the way of Blockbuster. She has to get them developed either at Costco, where they get messed up on almost every run, or a local store that costs about 5 dollars a print and eats into her pricing like mad. Its awful.

Unfortunately here in North America, food safety is a big scary liability for people. It isnt even just allergies. What if someone made something and their kitchen isnt clean? What if they have mice in their place? What if the apples they used weren't washed properly?
I can go on and on and on... Generally homemade foods are not recieved well here. There is too much of a variety in food safety knowledge and kitchen cleanliness when it isnt an inspected kitchen.

What I find even weirder now is the whole "Trunk or Treat" thing they do in the USA. Instead of going door to door, people decorate their cars in a parking lot and you go from car to car. Like a candy tailgate. So odd.

Unfortunately single serve candies in plastic are wasteful, but they are safe for kids with allergies. Some kids are allergic or sensitive to trace amounts of food that you wouldn't expect.

CCC was amazing. And you would always end up getting into an accident after picking up a hitchhiker.

I am a white Canadian. I appreciate Indigenous art and culture. I do not ever want to use it as my own, however, because I am not native.
Here is a prime example of cultural appropriation that I saw recently. A white Canadian woman is a therapist that uses animals as healers. That's fine. She wanted to set up a tipi to use in her healing sessions. Using someone else's culture for profit, especially when there were still residential schools less than 25 years ago, is a horrible use of cultural appropriation.

If you are using someone else's culture for personal gain, monetary or otherwise, and especially if it was a culture that was heavily persecuted, that to me is not ok.

I know generally the agricultural industry does not view immigrants like the rest of the US. However, there is also a lot of awful situations that migrant workers are exposed to. I hope that this group also gets out into the migrant community to help those who do not work with good farmers, and can get them out from a bad situation.
