I believe flying was added because of other new features in the game, I won't spoil it for you but you will need to fly a lot after beating the Ender Dragon. It does make the game a lot easier once you can do it, but it's not something that breaks the flow necessarily because of how late-game of an item it's supposed to be.
Also you're gonna have a heart attack when you hear about Happy Ghasts.

Speaking of Vintage Story, I very randomly found out about it while scrolling itch.io about a week ago and it has been a breath of fresh air after all these years of playing Minecraft for a few weeks once in a while and giving up because of frustrations like the ones mentioned in OP's video, and I think it's really worth checking out. It's not trying to be a replacement or a "just Minecraft but harder" type of clone, the history is really cool too - some mod developers were fed up with Minecraft's limitations and just created their own game, and over the years it has become a pretty polished and fun experience.

It's actually extremely fun, with a lot of smart mechanics and little details that show how much effort the developers put into it.
Out of all the Lethal Company inspired games, this one actually seems like a step-up in terms of quality and if you have a few friends that you usually play games with, I hope you'll give it a try, it's on sale for about 7 euros until tomorrow I think.

I found that for me at least in the beginning the Green Deck had the best results, until you unlock the other decks.
The best strategy for winning is ensuring that you manipulate your deck such that you get the hand that you want to play almost every time, that means buffing your cards, duplicating them and removing the cards you don't want. The easiest hand to do this with is Flush, so maybe try focusing on that. Mind your economy, try to get to 25$ as fast as possible to take advantage of interest and always maintain a minimum of 25$. Also, most rare jokers that seem OP need a very specific synergy with other jokers, that's why Vampire is very good but the chance of getting jokers that work with it is very low (Vampire+DNA+Blueprint is a good one, also Blueprint is the best joker in the game hands down so take it when you see it).
Lastly, don't sleep on the blind skips (always skip when it gives you a negative joker for example) and buy spectral packs whenever you see them, they can completely make or break a run.
I found this article very interesting, because it put into words a feeling I've had for some time now, that there is a shift in language on social media that focuses on boxing every person into a medical label. I think I'm guilty of that too in my personal life, especially after being diagnosed with a disorder, and I don't really know how much of that I picked up from my digital surroundings and other friends in a similar position (feeling less like myself and more like the label that I was given, shifting more and more of me, good and bad things, into a neat easy-to-remember acronym).
