Yes, and it's your ilk, you apologist.
One side is literally stealing children away from their families and putting them in actual, literal, no-uncertain-terms concentration camps, and they are doing it right now. It's all over the mainstream news everywhere.
The other side is publicly shaming the first side when they go out to eat at a public restaurant.
Let us be clear that you are apologizing for the former and declaring that the latter is somehow more nazi-like than the former.
Folks, this is what we call 'disingenuity'.
Do I need to paste the Sartre quote here?

The others in no particular order.
Citations Needed
Brilliant, poignant, and pointed media criticism by Nima Shirazi and Adam Johnson. Recommended first episode: Whichever title catches your eye the most. They're all self-contained, so you can really start anywhere you like and listen in whatever order you please. Every episode is excellent. I especially recommend the Yemen episode (17) or the Palestine episodes (28/29) if you'd like an eye opener into the inhuman cruelty of American foreign policy.
https://soundcloud.com/citationsneededChapo Trap House
Absurdist comedy podcast about american and world politics and the very stupid world we live in. Recommended first episode: any of 58 - We Live In The Zone Now (the immediate post-2016 election episode), or 133 - Antifap feat. Shuja Haider (immediate post-Charlottesville episode), or 164 - The Deficit Rag (post Dec. 2017 Republican budget passage episode). Whatever you do, don't start at the very beginning - it took them a few episodes to figure out what they were doing.
https://soundcloud.com/chapo-trap-houseRevolutions
A concise and compact historical educational series about various revolutions throughout history, from the English Civil Wars onwards. Recommended first episode: 000 - Introduction, then 1.1 - The Kingdoms of Charles Stuart. Would suggest listening in linear order from the beginning. Otherwise it might be confusing.
http://www.revolutionspodcast.com/Ashes Ashes
A podcast about major structural issues in society that threaten humanity's dignity, health, and survival on a global scale. Recommended first episode: 16 - What We Reap. But most of them are good, and there's no necessary order.

Your admiration for the idea of two privileged blokes politely discussing whether to treat people unlike them as equal and full human beings is naive at best and disgusting at worst.
Conflict is not resolved by debating the merits of whether or not women have agency over their own bodies or whether non-whites are really people or whether our nation's history of white supremacy actually happened. Conflict is resolved when one side achieves social hegemony and crushes the other into social stigmatization, and from there goeth the course of progress throughout history.
I will not and should not respect or tolerate someone who doesn't see or treat women and nonwhites as full human beings worthy of equality and dignity. To tolerate and "respectfully disagree" with sexism and racism is tacit approval of these things, and to accept and tolerate the moral repugnance and aberration of bigotry is to abrogate any responsibility one has towards being a good and moral person.

It's perpetually pulled out in order to silence criticism from the left, and it has been standard media practice for over a century to call for civility when a barbaric societal practice is criticized.

Episode 40 - The Civility Fetish deals with it most directly, but many of the episodes all the way from the very early episodes mention or tackle this absurdity. In particular, every episode where race in the media is covered tends to deal with how the media wields a onesided concept of civility as a weapon against change.

Nancy Pelosi has done far worse to hurt the marginalized in the US than the Kim family could ever hope to in their wildest feverish dreams.
I can't wait for Democrats to narrowly win a 51% majority in midterms this year and then have Nancy Pelosi immediately institute Pay-Go...
http://thehill.com/homenews/house/390898-dem-leaders-embrace-pay-go
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and other top Democrats are vowing to abide by fiscally hawkish pay-as-you-go rules if they seize the majority next year, rejecting calls from liberals who feel they’d be an impediment to big legislative gains.
Pelosi, who adopted “pay-go” rules when she held the Speaker’s gavel more than a decade ago, says she’ll push to do it again if the Democrats win the House in November’s midterm elections.
“Democrats are committed to pay-as-you-go,” Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said Tuesday, affirming the policy would be a 2019 priority.
... thus immediately dashing the hopes of anyone who thought there might for a moment be a chance to implement strong social programs (like Medicare For All, or free college & student loan forgiveness, or subsidized childcare for working families), and reinforcing that they won't bother to attempt reining in the collective psychosis of late capitalism, and further proving how little structural, non-aesthetic difference actually exists between our two corporate-owned-and-operated parties.
But hey, the far-right wing of our singular capitalist party, the Republicans, hate Pelosi even more than they hate Kim. So clearly she deserves our full-throated support!

Hi there. The account recovery page mentions that password resets are performed by emailing a specific Tildes address from your own specified recovery address. But as far as I can see, that Tildes reset address that's supposed to be sent to.. is unlisted anywhere on the website. I could be mistaken, of course, but in any case it's not easily visible. Also unlisted is what string should be placed in the Subject field, alongside any body content this sent email should contain.
As to the reason for the inquiry:
So when I registered for Tildes, I generated a password and stored it in my KeePass database like a responsible person. Except... like an idiot, I restarted my computer at some point without remembering to actually save my KP database (I promise this is only like the second time this has happened in 2 years or so), so I'm in the curious position of still being logged in but not actually being able to change my password. Naturally, I explored account recovery options, and registered my email address with the recovery page, but as I described above, I can't seem to find the address I'm supposed to send an email to in order to reset my password as part of the recovery process.

The difference in basal metabolic rate for ~96% of the human population is +/-150 calories per day; that is, extreme outliers aside (which you almost assuredly are not, alongside every other person who claims a "fast" or "slow" metabolism), the difference between an average very slow metabolism and an average very fast metabolism is ~300 calories / day.
While this discrepancy will account for a small difference in weight (someone who is a little slim versus someone who has a little extra), nobody gets seriously underweight or overweight on the basis of 300 calories a day. In over to be seriously underweight you need a serious calorie deficit, and in order to be seriously overweight you need an even more serious calorie surplus.
Soapboxing aside, if healthiness and weight maintenance or loss are your primary goals, I would personally recommend strongly against Keto and strongly for WFPB (Whole Foods Plant Based diet). Animal products have some seriously gnarly effects on your health over time, especially your risk for heart disease and cancer, and Keto often mega overloads you with meat and dairy in order to avoid carbs and remain in Ketosis. Meat and dairy are also loaded with the bad kind of cholesterol, and processed products are often loaded with transfats too (WFPB avoids anything processed).
If you'd be serious about Keto you can be serious about WFPB, considering Keto presents even greater difficulty and food preparation requirements along with greater financial cost. But if WFPB is too difficult, restrictive, annoying, or time consuming for you, like it is for many people (myself included!), you might try simple veganism instead (i.e. no animal products, literally anything else goes - that's where I'm at, and it's seriously growing in popularity). Basic veganism is monumentally easier than either WFPB or Keto ("am I allowed to eat it?" well, if it's human-edible and has no animal products, the answer is always yes), and still worlds healthier than the Standard American Diet (SAD).
It's technically possible to be an overweight vegan, but you really have to go painfully out of your way on the junk/snackfood (oreos are vegan) and/or the pasta in order to get there. It's a little easier to accidentally be an unhealthy vegan (you could probably survive on oreos but you'd be malnourished and sick all the time), but it's trivial to choose healthy food without any real, conscious thought when so much unhealthy garbage is already restricted away.

California (population ~39,540,000) having the same Senate representation as e.g. Wyoming (population ~580,000, or around 39,000,000 fewer people) is inexcusable, but here we are.
Without major amendments to the constitution that either abolish or restructure the Senate into a truly representative body, breaking large states into smaller states is the only way to even attempt to ameliorate the comically hideous proportionality problems the senate presents in terms of political representation.

https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/petr-kropotkin-mutual-aid-a-factor-of-evolutionTurns out it comes naturally but gets nurtured out of us because it's bad for business.
until someone bigger than you says "fuck it" and just starts dumping their trash on your land or taking your stuff
That's why a fully decentralized societal model only works in the absence of something like capitalism, and why pro-capital anarchism is a completely self contradictory. Small government is only valid when said government has no challenger for social dominance (for example, private enterprise). Anarchism is only philosophically and rationally sound when it challenges all unjust hierarchies (e.g. anarchist communism), and perhaps the greatest and most unjust hierarchy of all is private property (the darling beloved of so-called "anarchist" capitalists).
In order for a society without a state to function, the socioeconomic incentive structure must reward economic cooperation and penalize economic competition. Ergo, such a society must invariably be built on mutual aid and community assistance at every level. An injury to one must be an injury to all, and only under that line can a society prosper in the absence of hierarchy and remain resilient against hierarchy.

I am on the left. I'm an actual leftist, though, which means I'm also anti-democrat.
"Your party isn't innocent either" is classic whataboutism in the true definition (Soviet style "and you lynch negroes"), not the stupid reddit meme that gets trotted out by centrist dorks whenever a lefty points out that maybe the Russia conspiracy is being used to cover for Democrats' mistakes and structural ineptitude.
