Great, seems like there are a ton of decent options in this thread so I hope you find the one that works best for your needs!

You put it well. It was both entertaining and thought provoking and annoying that you have to beat the game multiple times to start enjoying.

I think my phone autocorrected it? Either way, I love that conspiracy theory. I feel like John Oliver did a thing on it once?

This man and the Bernstein Bears were my childhood. I have nothing but nostalgic joy for his books. I am sad that he was hit with dementia, but I am glad he can choose to die with dignity.

I hope you enjoy it. The story is both the best and worst part of the game. If you stick with it, you'll probably agree.

That's fair. I suppose it helps if you like realism in your TV viewing. Either way, I hope you enjoy the rest when you get back to it!

This was the first year in...31 years I didn't watch the Steelers on opening day. I was disgusted when they signed Rodgers and decided I'm just done with them.

I do enjoy simulation games like Civilization to an extent, but the "one more turn" aspect of them really hurts - very rarely do I want to go back to a campaign I've already started and have to re-figure out what my plans were. Something that is either a lot quicker of a loop or a lot easier to drop back in would be interesting to me though.

Based off this, I would suggest checking out Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War

It's a 4X, but since it's Warhammer it's all about combat really. The maps are smaller and faster than Civ, but I often just start over and don't really care about it. Although it's easy to pick back up, as you're really just always building more stuff to help you murder everything. Easy to pick back up. Story is there, but easily skippable, not important and can be ignored. Often goes on sale and plenty of fun without buying any of the DLC. I don't know if I will ever get tired of playing the Necrons.

Amazing pay and benefits help me put up with a lot of garbage at my job.

That said, I'm in fitness and tech sales, so the best part of the job itself is all the members who come back and tell us how our company has changed their lives. That never gets old.

I'm in management, so seeing people I hire and train come into their own, find success and then either keep finding success or moving on to be successful somewhere else is endlessly rewarding.

That sounds right up my alley, I will definitely check it out. I definitely agree that consistency is key for many podcasts success. I have a long commute so I mainly listen during it and build a routine. If they are inconsistent it's hard to build that routine.

Ologies is great. Allie Ward is the host and she is lovely. Each week she talks to a different ologist, like gynecology, radiology or fearology, etc. You learn a ton from experts in their field each week. I bet you'll like it.
