Alberta is Canada Texas. They are mad at the Federal government policies for not being pro oil & gas enough and not pro pipeline enough. Canada has an equalization payment system between the provinces to help maintain a standard of living for everyone and they claim that Alberta unfairly supports the other provinces. They also think they could run their own country better.
They also think that if they separate Canada will still let them still use Canadian passports and Canadian currency. They live in a fantasy land.

Wafik LinkI recently upgraded from a 3070 to a 5070ti but I exclusively game in 1440p and the 3070 was plenty capable, especially as a stop gap measure. I could run most modern games that are technically...I recently upgraded from a 3070 to a 5070ti but I exclusively game in 1440p and the 3070 was plenty capable, especially as a stop gap measure. I could run most modern games that are technically demanding in the medium to high range with the 3070 and still pull over 60 fps. That's honestly all I care about. If that's fine for you, the 3070 will do the job. If you want 120+ fps then you will probably need to invest in a newer card.
That said, I feel like 1440p is the perfect resolution. Noticeably better than 1080p but significantly easier to run than 4k. The step up from 1080p might be a similar revelation for you.
While you're probably fine with the 850W PSU, if you can step up to 1000W for a similar price then you might appreciate that. Not an expert, so could be overkill, but I got a 1000W PSU with my 2021 build and made upgrading to the 50 series cards less concerning.

Wafik LinkMy wife and I watched The Invite last night. I liked it more than I thought I would, although I guess I shouldn't be too surprised considering the cast. Norton and Cruz were great but not...My wife and I watched The Invite last night. I liked it more than I thought I would, although I guess I shouldn't be too surprised considering the cast. Norton and Cruz were great but not surprisingly the movie is really carried by Seth and Olivia. Their banter, their hatred of each other, their snipes. It felt real and was also hilarious at times.
I knew the movie basically happened in one location and involved something to do with sex, but beyond that went in pretty blind. It's always impressive when a simple premise can be pulled off so well.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see the mod talk about rebalancing and to your point, most maps are probably too small for 32 vs 32 let alone 64 vs 64.

Wafik LinkGreat game. Love free DLC. That all said, I don't really care about driving challenges in my not driving game. And New Game Plus feels underwhelming. Just being able to swap gadgets in mission...Great game. Love free DLC. That all said, I don't really care about driving challenges in my not driving game. And New Game Plus feels underwhelming. Just being able to swap gadgets in mission that are already available is arguably a feature that would have just made the game better and is no reason to replay the game.
I did just buy a 5070 ti so I'm more likely to replay to check out the path tracing ray tracing.

Wafik LinkI think we like to deny that we have changed at all until we realize that we have. Today just happens to be my 8 year anniversary at the same company. I got a big promotion to District Manager one...I think we like to deny that we have changed at all until we realize that we have.
Today just happens to be my 8 year anniversary at the same company. I got a big promotion to District Manager one month ago, but otherwise was effectively in the same role that entire time.
My confidence has increased significantly. I had no idea what I was doing 8 years ago. I spent a lot of time early on just bullshitting my way through my day to day. Now I really enjoy the fine tuning and constant feedback and growth that sales leadership can provide.
I used to take everything personal and try to fix everything. Now I pick and choose the hills I want to die on.
Before I would demur and avoid having to make tough choices and decisions. Now I enjoy solving tough challenges and making big decisions.
I see that roll over into my personal life. My wife will occasionally accuse me of trying to coach her.
So I guess I have changed over the past 8 years.

The team working on WoW was at the top of their game. The artists drew on some of their favourite sources and made their detailed style.
No offense to the current artists. I'm sure they are good. It's just not the same people who worked at early Blizzard. We won't ever get that again and that's sad.
Nostalgia is a hell of a thing.

Wafik LinkI have a decent 2021 gaming PC with a 3070 and the game runs flawlessly in 1440p for me so far. To the point that I meant to test settings, started playing, got zero slow down and just kind of...I have a decent 2021 gaming PC with a 3070 and the game runs flawlessly in 1440p for me so far. To the point that I meant to test settings, started playing, got zero slow down and just kind of forgot.
I recently completed a big battle with multiple heavies and drones on the screen at the same time with no noticeable change in performance.
So at least for me, the performance of the game has been flawless.
