Not sure exactly what the rules are for self-promotion
From the new FAQ I wrote (that is pending approval from @deimos for inclusion in the docs):
Self-promotion: Can I submit my own work, project or business to Tildes?
Yes, but don't spam it and don't solely use the site to promote your own material to the exclusion of all other activities. A user with a personal project they submit when/where relevant is fine, but a business with an account dedicated solely to promoting it on the site is not.
p.s. You and @Amarok would get along well, I suspect. He also spends a great deal of time working on archiving old media with obscure, nearly forgotten music on them, often having to find ways to circumvent the weird DRM they include to prevent copying.

Are those the ones where they were broken up into hundreds of tiny parts and put in crazy directory structures to prevent copying them, or is this a new set you're working on now?

Personally I think the bar is a little low for any posts right now because of the low user count, but that doesn't mean it should be low quality! I'll check out your links as I'm fairly new and...

Wait, this is for Touhou? I don't really understand why a bullet shooter seems to be so popular amongst media geeks. Touhou has a dedicated x264 preset. I hear there are a ton of image boards for...

Yep. Encoding them all takes a lot of time. :P
I wouldn't worry about self promotion, this and your last post were very high quality
Really enjoying these posts. I'll be sure to check back in a week for the next update!

edit: wow. Thanks for the info.
Excellent; been looking forward to this!
I'd be interested in knowing where you got that CD drive. I tried to find some of the listed ones and google gave me no purchase points.
Are these rips entirely for personal use, or do you contribute to some online archival group?
