Doesn't say how often you have to replace the beer nor if there is a convenient drinking straw for your now warm beer. What even is journalism anymore if not dead?

Corporate expression at it's finest! I guess television commercials are art, so why not this. "Brought to you by Carl's Jr."

“Making a puffer for the summer is an external expression of how refreshing and cool it feels to drink a Tiger. I started with the feeling of opening an ice-cold can of beer, and playing with the colours of Tiger Beer, before imbuing the aesthetics of the puffer with a new function.”

What an absolutely unnecessary and wasteful nonsense product (and article). This is the sort of vacuous drivel I hoped to avoid on Tildes.

From a purely mechanical perspective, surely just drinking the cold beer would provide more cooling than running water through tubes then pushing that water through a jacket?

I wonder if there's a way to quantify how much drinking a cold drink cools you off? The way they're using it to cool in the jacket is similar to how you water-cool a PC, so I don't doubt that it works to cool to at least some degree.

After cleaning camel back tubes used for just water after a backpacking trip, I can't imagine cleaning out one this these after beer has been circulating through it on a hot day.

I'd guess this works for about 5 minutes before your cheap beer is warm, and undrinkable, and the puffer jacket begins to overheat you in the sun & humidity.

Still absolutely a terrible idea and clearly just to get media talking about the two brands. Guess it worked.

And here I find an unlikely overlap in the Venn diagram of my two passions: beer and fashion. Bless you, Izzy Du.
