"SpagBol" is a common tradition English tea time meal and we're pretty bad at it, although we're making a bit more of an effort nowadays.
This video from Sorted Food gives two "normals" (people without chef training) the same ingredients, and allows them to use different techniques to cook the dish. The results are then judged by one of the Sorted chefs - Kush. (Kush is a proper chef with serious experience. He's worked as a chef in numerous Michelin-starred kitchens, a Development Chef to Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, and most recently for Atul Kochhar as Executive Sous Chef at Benares)
Sorted Food videos got stuck in a bit of a rut of blokey laddishness. It's entertaining, but it can feel a bit stale. But this new video is I feel an attempt to focus a bit more on actual cooking and technique, and less on banter and chaos.
