Bubble Tea, also called Boba, is everywhere. But who made it first?

    I'm Taiwanese and grew up with Boba in Taiwan and later in America even before it started getting big. This was an interesting video, though I agree with the Youtube comments, AI generated images...

    I'm Taiwanese and grew up with Boba in Taiwan and later in America even before it started getting big. This was an interesting video, though I agree with the Youtube comments, AI generated images were super distracting and kinda weird considering that there's probably millions of stock images out there surrounding all of this stuff.

    My favorite thing about bubble tea is how much it's embraced by the Asian American diaspora and that it's become a part of our culture, no matter where in East Asia you originate from. I think it's a nice mark of how we're not quite similar to our parents and grandparents at home, and learning to adapt and make our mark in american culture in general.

    I always find it really funny when creators always describe "foreign" foods in the way they do, as an aside.
