As someone who missed the hype train for Rust, I am excited for a name as big as Bethesda to give it a shot. I heard good things about Rust and hope this turns out like Fortnite and PUBG.

I've seen a few people saying that it appears it's going to be an online game, rather than a new core series title. Personally, my guess is that it'll be the Fallout version of Elder Scrolls Online.

In that case, it gets a hard pass from me. I want more SP games, especially to the scale of story that was New Vegas. I'll still be keeping an eye out, but honestly, if it's only MP, and something...

I'm not a huge Fallout fan to begin with, but if I were, and if this turns out to be a non-mainline Fallout game, I'd be disappointed. The amount of false hype Bethesda is trying to build here...

The amount of false hype Bethesda is trying to build here (with the tweet -> day long non-stream twitch stream -> near useless teaser video) almost feels like they're trying too hard to make up for something with a lot of marketing.
76 being the aspirational number for major, game breaking bugs.
Oh you sweet summer child. That number is way too low.
It looks like it is going to be a PVP shooter, like Rust.
Sigh.

I was thinking this was going to be set in New Orleans, but jesus that looks awesome!
Watch, it'll involve time travel back to '76.
Now, WHICH '76? 1776? 1876, 1976...?
If you haven’t seen it yet, @controlz posted the trailer, which makes it look like it’s Vault 76, rather than some random time travel plot device.
